Introduction
On March 2, 2001, the former U.S. President George W. Bush informed Parliament that in line with the decisive nature of the war, U.S. military forces were to support United Nations peacekeeping efforts in East Timor, to provide safety and maintain the laws and order of East Timor (Eldor et al.,46). Timor-Leste is tasked with the obligation of coordinating the provision of humanitarian assistance and helps to formulate a foundation of independence for East Timor. The United States currently is composed of approximately three military observers within the transitional administration. The impact of terrorism and war has significantly impacted negatively on the economy.
These greatly affected the U.S. economy since they were forced to uses a lot of funds to support the fighting army. Many lives were also lost during the war with others even becoming permanently disabled. 500 American troops have been deployed as national aid agencies in Macedonia. The American Army was assigned to Kosovo in an area near eastern England. President Bush indicated that America's intention to use American forces from 1798 to 2020(Eldor et al.,46).
The 21st Military Research Service conducts urban and rural security patrols through its departments to maintain a safe environment in 2002 Bosnia. Terror has resulted in quite a several effects through the country's, thus leading to the adverse impacts on the economy. The most obvious impact is the direct economic destruction and massive property and lives. Terrorism indirectly affects the economy by creating market uncertainty, xenophobia. It also led to a reduction in investment spending as well as increased government spending. The September 11 assaults also led straight to the U.S. war in Afghanistan, as well as additional homeland security spending (Eldor et al.,46). The attacks were also cited as a rationale for the Iraq war. The total cost expenditure incurred during the war surpassed $6 trillion.
The president's goal is to mobilize USGET staff as long as the situation permits the terrorist threat. On September 24, 2001, President Bush informed Parliament that coinciding with the declaration of war power and Senate Resolution 23 indicated that he had ordered the entry and dispatch of many foreign countries to the armed forces, with the strength of the fight to support the argument (Eldor et al.,46). The president noted that to prevent and suppress terrorism, he may find it necessary to command the world. These and other areas are sending more troops. He said he was currently unable to predict the extent and duration of the deployment of critical measures to respond to the terrorist threat to America.
My opinion concerning the war is that the U.S. government did something commendable. This is because the government aimed to help the United Nations peacekeeping agency to maintain peace and stability in the U.S. The country had been fighting over terrorism for a couple of years. Despite the massive destruction of property and loss of lives experienced during the war, peace was finally restored.
Based on Christian, the action taken by the U.S. government was not the most appropriate method of setting the dispute, since other methods would not have led to the massive destruction of properties and lives. Methods, such as negotiations or legal proceedings, would have been the most appropriate.
