Introduction
In the instance of a suitcase as a prop, it is unclear as to whether a bag depicts her coming or going. The presence of support fills the audience with thoughts during the examination of underpinnings. Different varieties of props should be examined by taking into account what is important about the prop from top to bottom and what the prop evokes within the stage setting (Kaufman et al., 54). While making a prop moment, one should have in mind what moment they need to have a striking effect on the audience.
Presumption
In the instance of a prop of a pillow, when the performer turns his back from the audience while holding a pillow, in the mind of the audience, there was a presumption that the performer thought of the pillow as a child or pet. When the performer held the pillow in front of the audience, the audience's attention was drawn to the fact that some of the feathers were hanging outside the pillow. When the performer stood at center stage while holding on the pillow, the illusion of him being in bed was evident among the audience.
In the moment of using a flour sifter as a prop, while the performer had no idea of what it was, the audience's attention was drawn to what they had not noticed in the play before; attention was paid to motion and material properties. An example is from tectonic games such as the Laramie project whereby objects which evoked the town and its inhabitants, such as a bartender towel and a cigarette case, were used.
Prop Moment
In the instance of a prop moment for gross indecency, actors have used historical sources to evoke different perspectives. A good example is "when an actor holds up a book, the actor says from the autobiography of Lord Alfred Douglas, a different actor then steps into the scene to play the role of Lord Alfred Douglas." (Kaufman et al., 60).Taking a look into prop moment into 33 variations, sheet music, there were many ways of exploring sheet music. There were moments where extraction was done from archival boxes with archival gloves. Towards the end of the play, the lead character dies, thus leading to the musical sheet being returned to the archival box and on a museum shelf.
In matters concerning concepts of discursive power, logging, and sharing moments, theoretical exploration has its beginning with a structural focus that is formal, bodies move, and props and costumes are manipulated. During the moment of recognition, otherwise known as the aha moment, it is essential to note that the audience has a triumphant moment (Kaufman and Barbara). The study of the moment is critical as it leads to a better understanding of the subject matter.
In finding out how the theatre speaks, discursive power, then the” word discursive is used when meaning of or relating to discourse, as opposed to the more common definition of rambling or digressive. "In the description of how a moment speaks, then words such as sensory in clarification would refer to directly the five senses in opposition to engaging in intellect while narrative would pertain to a story.
Conclusion
When taking a closer look at costume moments when a wedding dress is strewn across a chair in any manner, then in a moment, one would appreciate its beauty questions such as is the wedding going to take place would evoke. Taking a closer look at the impact of props to the audience, it is clear to say that they are quite significant. The question is, in a play without props, would the audience still enjoy the show and get the concept behind the play?
