Some academic writers ought to describe the matters of concern on a paper. Such a style of writing is known as a descriptive style. The primary purpose of this style is to show detailed facts (Bailey 2017). It helps in the reduction of different questions that may emerge as the reader goes through the paper. Descriptive writing helps the writer to explain how, when, and what happens as the paper address the matter of concern.

Also, Analytical writing is among the styles used to address the reader in the academic paper. Analytical styles explain the logical integrity of the discussion instead of just agreeing or disagreeing with the presentation. It helps the reader to have exact data used for the conclusion to be met in a research paper.

Most academic essays help in persuading the reader to understand the logic of the research material. Persuasive writing is common when the writer intends to argue, recommend, and interpret the research findings. Jacobson and Reid argue that a Persuasive essay helps in maintains the reader's attention and enables them to concentrate without being waved away by external disruptions (Jacobson and Reid 2010). It plays a significant role in improving the reader's interest and curiosity on the paper.

Critical writing is another style that plays a crucial role in the expression of professionalism on a paper. This type of essay gets commonly used by both advanced undergraduate and postgraduate researchers. Academic writing styles play a significant role in setting the mood of the reader. The mood set may enhance the concentration of the reader due to the curiosity made by the essay. It helps the reader to concentrate on understanding the conveyed information. Therefore, for the writer to consider the information to be expressed, he should choose the best type of writing.

Roles of Social Care Workers in Reducing Drug Abuse-Related Deaths Affecting Youths in America

Social care defines people who offer health assistance to disadvantaged individuals. The social workers should establish inclusion in various processes such as planning, involvement, and evaluation to facilitate access to all people suffering from systemic discrimination (Disadvantaged and vulnerable groups 2018). On the other hand, Drug abuse is when an individual legally or illegally abuses the consumption of the substances (National Institute on Drug Abuse n.d.). However, most drug-addicted youths get abandoned to deal with their health issues alone. Garey reports about the 11th-year girl found in Beechview overdosing heroin (Carey 2017). Drug addiction refers to the “medical disorder that affects the brain and changes behavior” (Lautieri, and Thomas n.d)

Most of the studies bridge the gap between physically disabled people and social workers, forgetting the mentally impaired and drug-addicted patience. The statistic shows that in America, there were 67,367 drug abuse deaths confirmed in 2018 (National Institute on Drug Abuse, 2020). Besides this figure, about 9.82% of residents in New York prove to have used an illicit drug (Hampton 2019). This number translates into one percentage higher than 8.82% of the national average compared to several specialists who should handle this addiction menace. Therefore, this study aims at filling this forsaken gap.
