Violence in America is the leading cause of death to young adults, adolescences and even children (Stark, 2017). violence is prevalent public health, progressive threat and great social risk. Exposure to violence can often time result in physical harm, causing wounds to the parties involved the physicians identify and treat. Violence also can cause long-lasting mental health and issues and a long-lasting physical disorder that are commonly less deceptive to the health caregivers (Löfving–Gupta, 2015). Violence in an indirect point of view degrade the human capital, slows down the developmental rate and increase inequality among the various individuals. This paper will explain the reasons why the United States of America are such a violent and aggressive country.

Violence can be defined as the deliberate application of physical power or force, threatened or real against a collection of people or an individual or even a community which yields or results in death, physical injury or psychological harm or deprivation (Bushman, 2016). While Iceland is named as the world’s safest and peaceful nation and Canada at number seven America is ranged at number 94 which makes it one of the most aggressive and violent nations (Stark, 2017). Some of the reasons which make America an aggressive and violent country is the Americans aggression culture. It is reported the schools is not the only place where physical violence occurs; the criminal justice structure is also among the list (Löfving–Gupta, 2015). With the gun availability, the police work with caution hence making them at least each day killing a few individuals.

Conclusion

The application of corporal punishment in the United States is so vast, and also this has been termed as the leading place where the school-going children learn violent from. The research indicated that carrying out corporal punishment to a child has short term but can cause harmful and long-term consequences. These among many other reasons like the economic diversity and past injustices as the causing agents for the America aggressiveness and violence
