As a boss, you can significantly affect your organization's effectiveness when you help workers meet their maximum potential and deliver results as a collective. To set your agency's course and make sure you make the optimum use of the resources and staff you control, you will need to consider your distinctive identity as a leader. To ensure that your employee privileges are secured when you behave in the organization's interests, you will also need to know how to communicate with your human resources department. Each of the four management practices affects a company at stages in its development, at various times as it handles its merchandise and various companies in diverse situations (Mcsherry, 2017).
As a manager, the entity's primary objective is to attain the best output with the existing resources, workforce, and appropriate technology. I should be able to look after the staff and ensure they have the most conducive working conditions for them to achieve their best output and results. In Kalisza, who has loyally worked for two years in the firm, it would be prudent to understand the cause of her declining performance. I would do thorough investigations to get to the bottom of the issue (Nicholls, 2020). Since Kalisza is part of an LGBTQ personality, it would be unfortunate to fire her based on her identity. The company does not tolerate the discrimination brought about by her identity. Consequently, seeking legal means to solve disputes is not advisable because it is a costly procedure and may soil the firm's good reputation. Therefore, as a manager, my obligations are to look after the workforce's social welfare, motivate them, and give them the morale to give exemplary results (Nicholls, 2020).
My time as an intern was an unforgettable experience. As a manager, I was tasked to lead my group in coming up with a proposal that was to be presented at the Annual General Meeting scheduled to take place later that month (Mcsherry, 2017). I had to work hard to ensure the proposal was ready for the big occasion and avoid disappointments. I selected a group of five members to carry out the task. We meticulously brainstormed and came up with a great plan. I successively scheduled meetings and coordinated activities right from the start. I led my group in crafting the draft of the proposal, which was one of its kind (2015). I perfectly controlled the proceedings and was in touch with the group as we advanced in the process. The staff enjoyed a cordial relationship with me as we addressed issues openly and transparently. I offered the staff breaks when they seemed worn out and tired (2015). This enabled them to work well and get the best. The proposal was ready within one and a half weeks and way better than we expected. The timing was perfect as the goals were accomplished on time. I savor my success to the principles of management, which I applied impeccably.
Conclusion
