The radio station is located in San Mateo California and broadcasts locally on 91.1 frequency. On 24hours, the station broadcasts jazz music, and the music is loved and listened to all over the world. The College of San Mateo established the Radio and first was used as a training facility for Radio and TV trainees. In 1964, when the Radio was founded, it was operated by students as staff until later in 1980 when the Radio employed independent producers. On the turning on the Radio at 07:05 on Monday 23 September, the radio presenter plays Regina Carter song 'Healing in the Foreign Lands.' The song a piece of excellent traditional jazz music and represent the truth of the past.
The radio presenter talks little about the music as she starts by describing who Regina Carter is. "Carter is an improvisational jazz musician and a jazz violin. The song is a musical influence for her life and has a unique style. When she was performing the song, Carter was overlooked as her potentiality in the performance of jazz music was doubted. She tries to venture new directions, and her collaboration with other jazz musicians has left significant sound tapestries to the people.
The presenter turns Jim Snidero - Recursion a quarter past the next hour. This is also a piece of jazz music that was first released in 2016 and took 9.35 seconds. After the song, the presenter says 'Snidero has performed very many songs from 1995 up to date'. The song Recursion includes high sounds trumpets, and the piano is well played. Snidero performs all over the world including the United State, Japan, Australia and most counties of Europe. 'He has performed many songs, but what impresses me in this song is the performance was unique in the Jazz Conception.' In this album, He was recording as a leader and was paying tribute to the harmonic and rhythmic ambivalence. Snidero was more spiritual than he was technical since the paradigm of the song cracked the most potent solo on record. During the recording, he was jagged with trills and intervals of new forms as he was expressing his emotions.
At 10.00 A.M, the presenter turns on Billie Bounce tunes played by Harold Mabern. The bounce song involved base, drum beats, and trumpets. The song was impressive and displayed chops of running the beautiful evening. The song of the song plays an outstanding versatility and great skill. This contributed to the upbeat driving success of the hit. The presenter also explains the importance of listening to jazz.
