Introduction
The book of Mark is one of the Gospel books in the Holy Bible. Consequently, according to the chronological order presentation, it is the second book in the New Testament. According to the biblical narration, Mark was a reliable friend to Simon Peter one of the 12 disciples of Jesus Christ. While he was undertaking his public ministry on earth, according to the Gospel of Mark, the book mainly focused on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Evidently, at the beginning of the second section of the book, Jesus summoned Simon Peter and his brother Andrew along with other ten disciples to follow him in his life ministry in (Mark 1:14-20). For instance, in( Mark 1:21) Jesus managed to heal a man with the unclean spirit in Capernaum, the man was seeking to know whether Jesus had come to destroy them or what was his intention with the people, the man had described Jesus as the( Holy One of God". However, at this time Jesus was in the synagogue teaching.
Furthermore, the section three of this book talks about Jesus withdrawal from Galilee with his disciples. Notably, this was the very time when Jesus performed the miracle of feeding five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fish (Mark 6:37-44) with this miracle Jesus demonstrated sharing an among Christians. Additionally, in the chapter (Mark 6:49) of the same book describes also talk about the gospel ministry when he walked on water, with this miracle Jesus wanted to demonstrate that he has power over nature and therefore his disciples could believe him.
According to chapter 10 of the book Mark (Mark 10:52), regarding this book, Jesus teaches many subjects. To mention, Jesus performed the miracle of restoring of sight to a blind man. However, the purpose of this miracles wat test faith (Mark 10:52) .Surprisingly, in the very chapter Jesus also predicted his death.
Moving further according to the book of Luke, it talked entirely on Christ teachings about salvations, and the fulfilment of the Old Testament prophesies concerning the coming Messiah.
The book also gives some clarification about the birth of Jesus Christ. About the Gospel of the Luke, entirely composed of details about the history of Jesus and the surrounding events during that time. In (Luke 1:5) gives adscription on the coming of Jesus and John the Baptist. Similarly, also give clear narration on the birth of Jesus and some important events that took place during his childhood.
Other than that, in (Luke 3:21, 22) contains the details of section three, i.e. the events that led to the public ministry of Jesus Christ, his baptism not excluded. Furthermore, in the next four chapter of the book talks about the beginning of the Christ ministry, remember this is the very time when Jesus chooses his 12 disciples (Luke 6:12-16), at this time Jesus had gone to the mountain to offer prayers to God at night and in the following day Jesus called his disciples choosing twelve of them whom he named apostles.
Worth mentioning, this book of Luke represent facts and essential lessons about Jesus Christ. It affirms that Jesus is the messiah as prophesized in the Old Testament.
According to Gospel John (John 3:16), while he was writing this book, he talked much about the love of God and his son Jesus to humanity. John said that God gave his only son such that whoever believes in him shall not perish but shall have eternal life. In other words, he wanted to demonstrate to people that God had sacrificed his only son for the sake of humanity.
