As a result of this, therefore, there is the need for the human beings to take good care and respect their bodies and if they do not do so, then it may result to negative results like a curse from their God. This brings in the aspect of preciousness, which means that the human body is so unique, and thus, it must be taken care of at all times. The focus in this scope is on the connection, which is there between the holiness of the body and religious beliefs.

There are so many things that will always be used to explain and expound on the fact that the bodies of human beings are holy places where God dwells as well as the various reasons as to why the bodies should be protected, fed well, kept away from sin so that the relationship with God is not ruined, and so (Bloom). From the image, what is covered from the teachings of Paul about the holiness of the body of Christ has a significant connection to the views about keeping the human body in good contact and more so based on men/women relationship. The most significant focus in this image and the information it provides is about the relationship of men and women in terms of sex and how this comes to affect the holiness of their bodies which are said to be the temples of the Holy Spirit (Coakley). Therefore, the teachings of Paul as presented in the image above begin with the explanation on how Christian males and females should dress and points out that the women should have their heads covered at all times and men have short hair. Above all, the most important that is expressed here is that human beings should exercise maximum control over their bodies so that they don't end up ruining the holiness through engaging in unnecessary acts.

Apart from them having to discipline their bodies, male control should be exercised and maintained over what are called the opening walls of the church which means the weak female bodies which can lead the men into sexual acts against the rules that govern the holiness of the human body as the body of Christ and temple of the holy spirit. The choosing of the image with this information was crucial to have a good understanding of how men and women should live knowing that their bodies are holy (Hiebert). It has everything to do with the Christian faith about sexuality and preciousness of the body. In conclusion, apart from the Christian faith alone, there are so many religions that teach about how holy and precious the human body is. They, therefore, urge that it should be kept clean and not defiled in any way, and this is a way of honoring God who is associated with creating this body and all the other things that exist. Besides, the body should be well-fed, protected and dressed due to its holiness.
