The Area Where the Movement Started

The place where the protest movement started highly contributed to its success. Occupy wall street movement started in New York, a street called Zuccotti Park, then it started spreading physically to the other parts of the world. For example, mobile technologies, as well as social media, were used as movement tools. "We use Facebook to schedule the protests, Twitter to coordinate, and YouTube to tell the world" (Maguire et al., 67). These tools helped the people to communicate as well as building a strong relationship during protesting.

Increasingly Rate of Inequality

The high rate of discrimination between the rich and poor was a factor that geared the movement.
