Introduction
Over the past few weeks, my view on theology has changed drastically. Before the course, I was not aware of significant and vital theology is to everyday Christian. Some of the aspects like a special revelation and general revelation have enlightened me that God reveals himself in different ways, and it is never wise to put God aside. Typically, limiting God's almighty power and guidance is only a barrier as to what and where he wants to take you. Previous to this course, I thought that theology was only something that either the chaplain or religious leaders had to know to educate the scripture to other Christians. Nonetheless, all Christians should be able to teach the word of God because that is what we are called to do. Theology has provided me with well-rounded wisdom and has also changed my world view by shaping how and what I do in my day to day activities. Additionally, theology has helped me to understand what God wants from us Christians. Theology has also taught me that focusing on Christ and taking the time to educate myself on the scripture will not only be beneficial in the present but also in the future as we await his second coming.
Part One
I can practice my principles by reading the scriptures more often and trying my best to live my life according to his words. Consequently, how I deal with others is a mirroring of how God wants us to handle others. From the bible, we are acknowledged to be kind and soft-hearted to one another and also to forgive others just as Christ forgives us. For instance, in my past days, it was a hard task to be able to forgive others, nevertheless, as I grow closer to God, I know it is what he wants and expects from me as a Christian. From this, I get to understand and practice with our principles throughout our everyday practices. Conversely, being able to practice the principles learned from this course will be a life-long affair of growing and maturing spiritually in my relationship with God. I am also able to practice principles by using God as the only reference. Jesus Christ should be the only example we must follow since absolute perfection, and endless love belongs to Him. I also practice the principles on my own by following the path the Lord has set aside for Christians.
Part Two
Fundamentally, I believe that I have a strong circle of influence in regards to our biblical beliefs, and any information passed along will be well received. With this influence, I will share with them how we should be using our spirituals gifts to help and spread God's gospel to others. For instance, teaching them that for us to allow God to be involved in our lives, we may not have a choice but to be selfless every time. In most cases, values are caught rather than taught, hence acting following what the scriptures dictate will help me to pass the information to those within my circle of influence. Moreover, people within your influence will be tempted to follow you together with the actions you display. Creating teachable moments by taking the initiative to talk about God when gathering with your peers. These will help to pass on the faith and spiritual practices, thereby adding knowledge about God. Besides, providing a consistent message of love and truth will play to pass the information to my circle of influence because it helps to connect with the members of my influence circle. Moreover, it helps to display faith in action and its importance for life.
