Introduction
Tyler Perry is an individual who has managed to build a successful entertainment empire. Perry plays many roles which include being is a screenwriter, director, producer and film actor. Perry's empire mainly concentrated on plays, films, and bookselling. During his childhood, Perry experienced years of abuse which made his life difficult. Perry's life took a turn in the year 1992 when he directed, created and also starred in an act known as Know I've been changed. After that show, Perry then was cast in Diary of a Mad Black Woman in the year 2001. Having developed a considerable following, Madea threw in some plays which included the Madea's Class Reunion and Madea's Family Reunion. According to research, Perry's extensive tours with hi shows attracted an average of 35000 people weekly.
On the screen, Perry continuously made films about morals, family as well as overcoming adversity. For instance, Perry made a film known as Daddy's Little Girl which was about a father who by the help of lawyer fought to regain custody for his three daughters. The other movie is Why Did I Get Married where Perry analyzed a talked about romantic relationships. Then Perry produced a film which examined the struggles of a single mother. The filmed was named Meet the Browns. The film premiered in television sitcom in January 2009. During the 1990s and 2000s, Perry continuously produced and wrote many stage plays. The Diary of a Mad Black Woman film was his most famous film which earned him many nominations and awards. Having been made with an average of $ 5.5 million the movie earned him $50.6 million. As such, Perry's other significant achievement was House of Payne. The comedy-drama series had a total of 254 episodes. Moreover, Perry was awarded two black entertainment Television (BET) awards. The first award was for the category of an outstanding actor in a theatrical film and the second award was for the exceptional writing for theoretical film.
