Brief Family Characteristics of Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson was born in a family of three sisters and five brothers, namely Janet, Rebbie, Latoya, Marlon, Jackie, Jermaine, and Randy. He was born the last three where Randy and Janet succeeded him. Michael Jackson's family came from a humble background where he lived with his family in a two-bedroom house.
Psychobiography is a philosophical theory that covers the life history of a public figure and motivation to the youth. Psycho biographical studies are used in the test of methods for growth and humanity. Researchers tell that psychobiographical studies have been helpful in the trial for theories associated with human-related approaches. The primary purpose of this paper is to review the life of Michael Jackson's psychobiological lifestyle using sampling procedures. Research materials such as journals, newspapers, and magazines have been of help on giving enough data and reference. In this paper, I have analyzed Michael Jackson's personality using research and theories analysis and compared with my characters to get the overall conclusion on my study. In this paper, I have also connected all my reviews and compared with existing theories, models, shortcomings of the approaches, and models to formulate a broad conclusion about Michael Jackson.
The first personality of Michael Jackson was seen in the Erikson's psychosocial development theory where the data analysis was conducted using Yin's analytical generalization which had two main strategies:
- Development of a matrix for integration and organization of the right data
- Use of theoretical framework in determining the relevance of the data to carry out the examination
However, the success of his data would not have succeeded without a proper conceptual framework for better data collection. Alexander and Erikson's provided the theories that were very important for the success in the study( Mayer, 2020).
I mostly recognize the undertakings and experimentation of Erikson theory since it's an excellent implication of Michael Jackson's growth of inner personality. In the future methodology and method of researching psychobiographical recommendations will be easily achieved as a way to the finding was laid by Michael Jackson.
The life history of Michael Jackson is impressive when the data is collectively put together in a psychological theory for interpretation and the right description. Bringing all the data to arrive at the fact that his life did in the real-life situation is the second move where novels and journals were written at the time of his existence.
Limitations of the theories included the underestimation of the ability of psychobiographical. Proofs can be implemented to get a good understanding of people. The approaches in the journals would lack enough information to fill in the gap of understanding the methodology. Lack of knowledge makes people assume some facts that they face and eventually fail to know the importance of psychobiography. Researchers also find that psycho biographical is a fast-moving field filled up with one focus on what the character did remarkably. He says that most people vary in views, and psychobiographical research could be based on one's excitements. Such excitements and fun make the psychobiographical process an easy task as the novels remain with the interests of the psychologist. The outlook of someone is looked daily and gets understood at times when one is sober.
The fact that Michael Jackson spends almost all his life in presenting and singing, he won the Guinness world music award, many authors wrote novels to sell and create employment under this opportunity. The platform became an opportunity to get access to his information with ease. Surprisingly, Michael Jackson did never write any novel to recognize his competitors or acknowledge anyone. Researchers warned that negligence of psychologists should be avoided to help the research on better psychobiography methods. A case study done by a psychologist on a dead person s helps in tracing human development using longitudinal analysis.
Psychological studies indicate that biographers and doctors use science-based approaches to get the difference in the growth of children, whereby you grew up child behaving like a child and vice verse. A sampling technique has been summoned to conduct the analytical study, which is a qualitative psychobiography. Inorder the judgment matters a lot in the determination of the attributes needed to acquire the correct data. Michael Jackson is the subject of study in the research having been chosen on his impact on people's interests and the impact of his songs in people. ( Mayer, 2020).To appropriate Jackson as a person who would pass psychobiography the complexity within himself identified him.
Data collection: Biographical data would represent his entire life where the sources of the data are from television interviews produced by Jackson while other data sources would come from biographies such as books, newspapers, and magazine articles. Secondary sources of data will help in knowing what is essential for the life of Michael Jackson.
Conclusion
Scientists and researchers have examined that extraction and analysis of the collected data material best describe the best methods for the mining and useful review of a research paper as I have discussed in the study. In this section, you will know the techniques adhered to research and arrive at the data with the main focus being on contexts, elements, and small units of analytics ( Mayer, 2020).
The researcher's efforts to remain systematic and consistent during the process of data collection and analysis were aided by asking the data questions. Firstly, the researcher investigated each life stage of the subject by asking the data questions. The process of psychosocial development that appeared to occur during each life stage was then explored in terms.
Methodological considerations are essential in performing a research study to recognize and minimize possible shortcomings (Mayer, 2020). Qualitative research focuses on describing and exploring; therefore all design decisions are based on this focus to explore and describe the different meanings in people's lives. This chapter has presented an overview of the critical methodological relevant to this particular study. Procedures such as research objectives, research design, participant and sampling method, data collection procedure, data extraction and analysis procedure, validity and reliability, and finally, ethical considerations were discussed. The following chapter will present the findings of this study and provide a discussion of the results. In 1996 Jackson got married to her first wife Debbie, they bore two children and in 1998 parted ways (Ponterotto, 2018).
They divorced in the year 1999, and Jackson gained custody of the two children and cater to them as young as one year children. The divorce did not stop him from producing music though did not succeed in this time but released an album in 2001. The sell of the album earned him a lot of profits; According to records, this sale was not as best as the others when he had not divorced his first wife. In the year 2001, he gained momentum and started his performance with a high pith that made him famous worldwide.
Erikson's theory described the underlying strength that emerged from generatively, care, as a broad concern for others and believed it was manifested in need to teach, not only to help others but also fulfil one's own identity (Ponterotto, 2018).
The birth of his children manifested Jackson's fundamental strength of care. This change to his social environment influenced his ability to negotiate other social influences and help him resolve this developmental crisis as well as aid in the fulfilment of his own identity. The different social changes experienced during this stage may have caused Jackson's ability to resolve the crisis presented during this developmental stage to fluctuate over time. Ultimately Jackson's ability to overcome severe social changes influenced his ability to solve this developmental crisis.
