Cultural diversity in classrooms helps to broaden the mind of the students because it will help students to learn various issues (Shihui 87). Every culture is associated with different concepts. Therefore, students who come from different cultural groups have various ideas and opinions about different issues. When these students meet in classroom they will learn of these ideas as well as the opinion which will help them to gain new knowledge.

The second way that cultural diversity helps to broaden the mind of a student is through growth as well as experience (Vervaet, Van Houtte, and Stevens 68). When a student from different cultural groups come together in a classroom, they will learn about the experience of each other. These experience might help the students to reflect on their personal experience, and they may use this as a chance to grow.

Moreover, cultural diversity helps the student to appreciate other people (Rutledge, and Cohen-Vogel 1070). Being in a culturally diverse environment helps the student learn about the difference of other people. Learning the difference that people from other cultural groups have and accepting that it cannot be changed helps the student to appreciate them the way they are.

The authors of this book have explained that multicultural education is essential especially in a place where there are people from different cultural groups. Multi-cultural education is important in the sense that it will ensure people from different cultures learn the same issue. As much as multi-cultural education is important in an area full of people from different cultures, some challenges may be related to it. The main challenge that these authors believe faces multicultural education is language barrier. Most cultures re-associated with a particular language hence when they people from these cultures are brought together, it may be difficult to communicating to all of them at once.

The author of this book explains that multiculturalism in education is essential. Students in learning institutions come from different cultural groups. Pusey, Stacey. "How does culture impact the ability to learn? "School News, 2018, pp 1-2.

According to the author of this source, culture affects impact our ability to learn in many ways which could be both positive and negative. The author claims that one of the ways that culture can impact on our ability to learn is that when people from different culture meet, there will be a language barrier since there is no common language that can be used to teach all of them. The other way that culture can affect the ability to learn is that there are some cultures whereby children are supposed to listen and not to speak to their elders. Therefore, this may affect the ability to learn since these students may not be able to seek clarification on anything that they have not understood making it hard for them to learn.
