Introduction

His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, believes that love and compassion are predominant in this world despite other people thinking that anger and hatred is the nature of every human. He believes that if anger and hatred dominated the whole of us, the entire population would have decreased. Despite several conflicts involved with us the population is still increasing indicating that our world is filled with love and compassion. Unpleasant events in our lives make us compassionate and because they have become ubiquitous in our life's we don't notice the feeling we have towards them.

Dalai says that compassion has mental benefits to us; compassion contributes to good physical health according to his experience. There is a direct relationship between mental stability and physical health; with this, agitation and anger make one more susceptible to illness (Gibbs, 2017). A mind with deep thoughts is more likely to fall prey of diseases hence the need for us to be compassionate. Compassionate attitude brings about the desire to be happy, and this can only be achieved by a calm mind. Whatever inhibits our love for each should be avoided, for all these to be achieved we need to develop a compassionate attitude. It is not enough for us to think about the benefits of compassion; we should concentrate on efforts to establish a compassionate feeling in us. These events should be used to transform our behaviour and our thoughts.

According to his Holiness, the emotional response of compassion is not enough but the firm commitment is toward this feeling is what is necessary for the feeling to change the lives of others (Singer & Ricard, 2015). A negative behave towards other people while we are compassionate about others is useless. If we have to show compassion, let it be towards everyone. Developing this kind of compassion is not easy but that is what is required, and we should train ourselves to behave like that. His Holiness spoke about how compassionate care for the children, by showing these children generosity, kindness and friendship we get to change these children's lives to the better. This makes those children that are orphaned to feel worthy of living and even make develop the attitude of being compassionate. Dalai advised all religions to tech and practice compassion, forgiveness, love, and tolerance.

Dali Lama also points out that many people wait until the difficult times arise to think of compassion. He says that those who create the opportunity to practice compassion are not our enemies but our friends. He says that we should feel more grateful to our enemies for they give us a chance to experience the feeling. Anger is very harmful to our minds, and we should train ourselves on how to reduce the negative feeling we have towards our enemies (Gibbs, 2017). With anger any attempt to have a calm mind will be futile, and hence anger is the greatest enemy of a human being. Everyone wants to have friends; being selfish is a bad character. We should be caring, and concerned about the welfare of our friends, we should always want to make our friends happy. The reason for this is at one time we will need our friends to help when problems face us. Without these friends, we will be left to suffer alone with no one to help us.

According to my views, Dalai Lama was right about the view on compassion. It is an event that our leaders have no compassion for people, we have witnessed leaders watch as the citizens suffer in anger and other pandemics like diseases while they live precious lives in expensive hotels and their palatial homes. We have seen countries is said to have a high poverty level but still in the same country some billionaires own more than half of what the country is worth (White, 2017). These rich people take advantage of the poor with them being in control of the government; they take away all the resources that are supposed to be used for development and keep it for themselves. While the citizens suffer joylessly with anger and no education, others are living high luxurious lives. If these people were compassionate, they would use the opportunity to develop their country and educate them so that they can be able to live a better life. Many leaders believe by uplifting the poor; it will make them have no one to take advantage for hence they see no need to be compassionate since it will be working against their interest.

It is right to say that everyone is created with a good loving and compassionate heart; it is only that people choose to ignore these good characteristics and emulate the bad ones who serve their interests. No one is created to be evil; it is only that we change to be evil so to serve our interests. Killing is an easy thing to do; murderers also hesitate when murdering because they have a little compassion, but the need for killing is excellent than the kindness they have. Many people keep their interest first (White, 2017). Hence they commit the crime without considering the feeling of compassion they have. A human being should develop strong empathy that prevents them prevents them from committing crimes like murder. The world is nowadays failed by people who ignore the feeling of compassion hence increased level of crimes that prove humans to be evil while this is not who we are supposed to be.

I also support the connection between mental stability and physical health. A person who has deep thoughts about something wrong is more susceptible to falling ill. A mind that tries to suppress the feeling of compassion and emulate anger so that it can serve personal interests is more susceptible to tress and illness. This is because the mind is set to planning something bad and it knows that those plans have ill intentions; hence it is likely for someone with this thought to experience headache or even ulcers. A compassionate mind always has a feeling of happiness; this is because the mind is doing what it is made to do. Doing something good males one feels good and health; the feeling of contributing to someone's happy makes one feel worth to live. A compassionate person is said to be free from stress ad always has physical health.

I support his holiness Dalai thought that the feeling of compassion is not enough if it is not reflected in the action of an individual. Despite people having the feeling of compassion not doing something about it is not enough. A sense of compassion is experienced when one sees another one experience something terrible, painful and he feels the fitness toward what the person is experiencing. If you have this feeling, you don't bother to help the person you feel compassion about it is just like the person who felt nothing about it. We should learn to direct our actions to the feeling we have of compassion. If we see children suffer in hunger and just be compassionate without contributing to what we can afford to them it is all useless to feel compassionate.

Dalai's thought that our enemies are the most important when it comes to realizing the need for compassion. He suggests that our enemies make us realize that compassion is very important. When we see our friend suffer, we notice that despite the anger and the negative feeling we have towards our enemies they still deserve to be happy. They don't deserve to struggle and suffer. Friends are also much more important to us; we should our friends' compassion in their difficult times, this is because at one time we will be facing the challenging situation and we will need them to be there for us. Without friends, we face a very hard time when faced by problems, and that is the time, we see friends are essential.

My judgment about the view about his Highness Dalai is correct. This is because as we can see despite our leaders behaving in an inhuman way that sees them neglect the poor and take advantage of the poor during hard times like when one of them is faced by severe problems, they try to form organizations to support the poor after they realize they can also meet these problems. Many people tend to behave in an uncompassionate way, but when problems face them they know, they are indispensable.
