Introduction
Christians just like non-Christians are humans, and one of the standard practices that people do is to make mistakes. Therefore, the number one thing that one must have in mind is that mistakes are paramount. Nevertheless, there is a specific manner in which those who call themselves ought to behave and act. Christian leaders, thus, have significant responsibilities in showing people the way. As the bible indicate, Christians are the eye of Christ here on earth. Meaning it is through Christians that God manifests Himself to people. The mention suggests that the Christians must carry out themselves in a sober manner knowing that the Christ live in them. Christians must ensure that they treat people well they way Christ treats people.
So when you are a Christian and a leader, you are expected to treat people in a manner that they will not regret. The Bible in Genesis as well addresses the boundaries of leadership. This tells that there are boundaries and it is not proper if the limit is not observed. It is ethical that a Christian leader must not apply authority beyond the borders. Another way that the passage explores how a Christian leader should behave and act is through following the laws. It gets noted that leaders are not above the law. A Christian leader must ensure this by abiding by the regulations.
In various organizations today, ethical problems are depicted in several ways. One way is through the embezzlement of funds in the organization. Ethically, the financials in the organizations need to be used organizationally to improve on the development. Another ethical problem that is rampant in the organization is the cultural intolerance that leads to discriminations among the people in an organization. In the various organization, some people are not employed on the basis that they are from different religion, race, and have a different culture that maybe is not needed in the organization. Discrimination and racial intolerance are one of the most significant ethical problems that many people are facing in the organization where they work or the head. Leaders must ensure that they effectively promote ethics in the organizations that they lead. This can be done through various models such as the behavioral model, which can help in changing a person behavior to behave ethically.
The sermon on the mountain as depicted in Mathew 5-7 indicate two significant values, which are being righteous and displaying obedience. The chapter shows reveal a lot in society, and it teaches us a lot concerning the way people need to stay in the community without any problems. The value of righteousness helps leaders in society to be people who are truthful in the organization. On the other hand, obedience as a value allows people in the community operate within the set laws of the lad, thus, making them stay in line with the requirements of the almighty. These virtues that are depicted in this verses helps in shaping leadership in the society in that a leader needs to be truthful and obedient. As per Luke 6:20-49, the verse addresses the issue of wealth and love. The bible state that having love wins all wealth. He who loves and blessed with wealth is in an excellent position to help others who needs his assistance. Leaders can as well refer to the verse to ensure the smooth running of society.
Conclusion
In the work environment, if there are ethical problems manifests themselves, it will help people to look into the matters that bring about the issues and find a line of action that will be better. Moreover, it will help workers and the leaders in the organization to be aware of the unethical practices and their effects, thus, can help in reducing the cases of unethical behaviors.
