Introduction
In creating a blog, several things need to be followed to emerge successful in blogging. Earlier on blogging mainly revolved around doing personal blogs whereby people would write about their daily events around them. Blogs have become an innovative method of marketing just like other innovations done about the internet, and that is where the blogging business took off. Blogging can be used mainly in two ways, one of them being marketing. Marketing in blogs can make money to the blogger for advertising other people's products, but this commercial business with a blog requires a certain amount of traffic to make some good money from it. Again, a blog can act like a business in itself and by itself.
Many people are still confused about the constituents of a blog and what difference exists between these blogs and websites. This confusion involves many business organizations using both blog and website such that they are integrating them into a single web page. Two main features make blogs different from websites. First, blogs are frequently updated; they will give several contents being updated several times every week. Again, a blog provides features for readers to be engaged in the blog as they read or watch the contents posted. Most often, blogs are included in social media platforms so that readers are able to comment and chat with the blogger while others share the blog on the various social media platforms. The popularity that is associated with a blog has made entrepreneurs turn to blog because search engines like new content, and as result, search engines are perfect tool for search engine optimization. In addition, blogs make a great means of keeping customers and daily clients as well as internet users updated with new content; they are able to know when new deals emerge and give tips on how to get the deals done. As customers makes frequent visits to your blog, the probability of them spending money increases.
The popularity of blogging has been attributing to the returns bloggers get from it. However, miscommunication and misguided information found on a blog can be a real threat to the success of blogging. People tend to listen to the strongest ideas that are touching their daily activities. However, society is not very receptive to scientific statistics but instead love to read or hear about what has happened around them and the effects they have on their lives. This disconnection between science and society sometimes tends to bring about miscommunication and misunderstanding in blogging. The media is another source of misunderstanding in blogging. Sometimes, the contents available in a blog could be different from that covered by media houses. This leaves the readers and followers in a confused state not knowing which content to follow and which one is fake. It is worth remembering that writing blogs means a lot to people who read them because the many posts will have an effect on people and the success of the blog will mainly be gauged by how many lives it touched and changed for the better. Therefore, it is good to be able to communicate your ideas vividly and do research about them so that credible information is available to your readers. Also if possible, adding a translation feature to the blog can be of value because more and more visitors around the world will be reached.
