There is a need to analyze the negative consequences subscribing to Netflix and other live services to make an informed decision on Video streaming services such as Netflix offer different live broadcast channels (Bailey, 2017). One can watch different favorite channels, including ABC, Fox, NBC, and CBS. However, some television channels are not independent in various geographic locations. Besides, some news coverage channels may not include commercial broadcast affiliates and cable news channels. Some services include news network that is not based in the United States, requiring individuals to pay extra for international channels.

The idea of Netflix, streaming TV movies and shows initiated back in 2007, although the concept was revolutionary. The company had an added advantage because it had no competitor. Its innovative idea and success attracted competitors and imitators. Netflix is synonymous when it comes to streaming. Netflix's business model is natural, especially its SVOD.Amazon Originals are on the heels of Netflix. Netflix's live TV features create a unique way that has helped Netflix to lead in SVOD. There are reports that Sling TV will launch its TV tuner box. The device can receive local TV channels through the digital antenna that combines it with Netflix streaming service.

The TV air offers a profound way of combining free broadcast networks that are availed by TV tuners enabled by Sling Streaming, a single interface service. The AirTV has landing page notes that enable one to watch Netflix from the same device. AirTV player has the best TV experience as it has a single platform where one can watch Netflix and other local channels. The AirTV box is integrated with a voice-enabled remote which has a Netflix button. The Tablo DVR is enabled for starters to watch local channels, although at a fee. Netflix and Sling TV are available although at a subscription usually monthly fee. There is instant playback by using individual streaming media servers such as Netflix, which enable users to jump forward and backward the file. Contrary, Streaming Video files come at a price because Netflix requires sufficient and robust bandwidth to play, especially if one wants quality videos (Kim, Nam & Ryu, 2019). Netflix streaming requires at least an internet speed of about 5 Mbps for good HD quality, 7 Mbps for super HD quality, and 12 Mbps for three-dimension streaming. As such, the audience with a slow connection may experience some issues with poor quality.

Television is an evident product in the 21st century. TVs have the capacity to empowering the lives of many by inducing into board important information. The idea of current global happenings, information regarding sports, weather information aired through Television can help individuals to plan for their events. Notably, Television is the right entertainment product and is cheap to buy and maintain. Television can empower different individuals to live better. While the users are given the advantage of self- protection from pirate contents, sometimes, Netflix may work against viewers because the streaming video will only work with a stable internet connection (Shattuc, 2020). As such, viewers may be cut from live streaming, and thus, such service should consider offering another option of downloading video files and consider providing a protection copy to prevent all forms of piracy.
