The U.S congressman representative is the members of the legislative branch which makes laws used in the country operations. The congress is divided into two sections namely the House of Representatives and the Senate. The House of representative has a total of 435 members, and the representation is always measured by the number of population of every state (Hodbod and Dominik, 1). In the United States, the required minimum age should be 25years old, and he or she should be a resident of the country they represent. A senate member should be at least 30 years and a citizen for at least nine years and a resident of that particular state.

My U.S House of Representative is called Jimmy Gomez. Jimmy Gomez represents California 34th Congressman. Mr. Jimmy Gomez serves as an Assistant whip among the 116th members, and he is also a member of the House committee which serves as an Oversight and Reforms. He is also a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Congressional Asian Pacific and Congressional Progressive Caucus. Gomez also has served in various governmental positions before elected in the situation as a congressman. He was also California States Assembly where he served as a chair of the Assembly Appropriation Committee. Additionally, Mr. Gomez also champions climate change campaigns activities; he was also a key figure in the landmark legislation services. Some of the critical sectors that Gomez effectively impacted in include, water conservation committee, civic engagement, LGBT rights, and education department (Panetta & Jimmy,1).

Various measures have been introduced in the Congressional District of California that I agree with while others I disagree. Generally, Gomez has established multiple initiatives that have impacted political, socioeconomic growth in California. According to the survey, the action that was broadcast by Jimmy Gomez played a critical role in unifying and promoting the culture of love among the members of California. Gomez championed environmental conservations mechanisms among the country a factor that in one perspective to the other reduced pollution rate in the state. Civic education is one of the essential elements that drive the legal structure of the county, Mr. Gomez has highlighted some of the critical public programs that are intended in creating awareness among the members on the usage of funds in the state. He also spearheaded on the commercial usage and allocations in various departments in his county (Panetta & Jimmy,1). Mr. Jimmy Gomez, on the other hand, have initiated have failed in some sectors as a house representative member. One of the industry with a sever challenge is the education department. In California, there is no effective plan in developing an effective and structural educational program that can accommodate all the members of the society. The rate of injustice practices has tremendously grown at an alarming rate. Mr. Gomez has not identified a clear way of controlling the injustice practices in the government operational structure. There are various discrimination and oppression of people from different races. Most of the California residents feel that they have not been adequately represented with equality and fairness among by their House of representative. According to the survey that was done by an independent body stated that over 70% of the residents living in the state are not happy with the way they ae perceived by the majority of citizens.
