Different administrations had different views on the legalization of Marijuana. This division from the administrations currently affects the nation on the legalization policy of Marijuana. On the administration of Donald Trump, the agenda shows that he supported the use of medical Marijuana, his federal government allowed looking for legal resolutions in the States which had legalized the growth and also the sale of recreational marijuana which was in line with what he had supported in his campaigns. The reason given on funds allocation on usage of drug is explained well as the department of justice is being prohibited from spending money to take part on intervening on the policies of the implementation of the marijuana in the legalized states which is a good explanation of the idea that he was in full support of the legalization of the medicinal cannabis. Being in full support of the legalization of medicinal Marijuana, the reason given on his approach on the usage of the drug is also right as his administration allows the States which have legalized Marijuana to write down their Marijuana policies. On the administration of Barack Obama, the agenda of his administration is shown to legalize the usage of marijuana without the threat of the interference from the federal. His administration is also shown not to allow the federal government to interfere with the usage of Marijuana in the legalized States. The allocation of the finances well explains this on the issue of Marijuana which is quite sufficient as it shows that the money used in drug prohibition was $47.9 billion annually while this would be translated to the raising of more than $58.8 billion as tax revenue. The reason showed on how the president approached this issue has a problem as at first the patients were required to provide signed forms from their physicians which later translated to the administration changing tactics on the signed forms and concentrated on preventing the use of the drug. The agenda given out on George Bush administration was to oppose the legalization of Marijuana fully. This is explained by how many federal raids were carried out against the patients who were using medical Marijuana, including their dispensaries. His agenda is shown to come up with a court decision which advocated for the physicians to carry out a discussion on the medication of Marijuana with their patients. On his administration, the reason given from his opposition to the usage of Marijuana is compelling as, under the act of higher education, the offenders of the drug were barred from receiving any of the financial student aid. The reason given on how Bush approached this issue is also suitable as he enforced the federal government to crack down all the medical marijuana dispensaries, which was an operation carried across the nation. This operation also led to the sentencing of the dispensary operators.
One of my colleague's grid that I would revise is on how Barrack Obama administration approached the issue of Marijuana. This is because, at first, all the states were allowed to legalize the drug, and the government was not supposed to interfere with the State's business on the drug. His administration later gave out rules that the patients using the drugs were supposed to provide signed forms from their physicians'. This then changed to his administration focusing on prevention of the drug, which was not in line with his agenda.
