Question 1

Savannah is an addict of alcohol and heroin. According to this article, she started drinking alcohol and marijuana of which led her to take alcohol up to the age of 22 years of age (Indian et al. 2015). Also, she started using heroin when she moved in with her boyfriend, which led to severe addiction. Besides, Savannah narrates that alcohol and heroine help to calm her nerves through her night.

Question 2

According to this case study, Savannah should stop using alcohol and heroin. Savannah does all it takes to find heroin for her and Jack (Conrad et al. 2015). The heroine is not good for a pregnant woman because it leads to seizures, tremors, diarrhea, gaining more weight, and death. On the other hand, alcohol is dangerous to the feotus it can lead to the death of both the mother and the feoutus.

The first concern is Savannah to stop using drugs at all. Secondly, Jack should stop using drugs and look for a job, and then lastly Savannah should stop the life of prostitution. From these concerns, Savannah stopping drug abuse will lead to a good experience for her and the baby (Conrad et al. 2015). Jack being the father, he should become responsible by stopping drug abuse and then Savannah stopping prostitution, will help her from risking her life and for her child.

I would advise Savannah to go for drug abstinence lessons, and this will help her regain her actual value of life and understand what being a parent is (Conrad et al. 2015). Also, showing her real life-changing stories of individuals who had similar problems and turned to the good life because of abstinence.

I think Savannah should stop using heroin since it will cause her health problems and her child's life.

Jack should find a job to sustains his family. Also, Savannah should be restricted from drugs since she has a child that needs proper care. Doing this will lead the spouse to find a reason worth living for and lead a good life.
