On April 1st 2019, there was a robbery with violence incident that happened at a store on Tenth Avenue whereby a masked robber took away an approximate amount of $500 from the cash register. After one week the police officers had received some information about whom the robber could have been and they went ahead to search his house with a search warrant. During the search the police officers were able to discover various things which were assumed to be from the robbery. Amount close to what was taken from the cash register was recovered which was in consistent to the denominations told by the cashier and also the knife believed to be used in the robbery. Therefore, Johnson the suspected robber is on trial charged with the robbery case. The prosecution is introducing some exhibits as the testimony to show that Johnson could be the robber. This would be the materials to be analyzed so that the judge can give her rule on the case.

As a judge who has already familiarized herself with details of the case by reading the relevant case papers to settle the case accordingly through following the process of proving that the exhibits provided are valid for the case should be important. Basing the case on the testimonies provided for the robbery case, and the evidence presented in the same regard, I decide that the exhibits are admissible. This is because they are providing prove that the robber was involved in the act. More so, the first exhibit provided about $448 amount of the money that was found on the suspected robber's house was very close to the approximate stolen amount from the store.

The money was also in mixed denominations as per the records retrieved from the calculations of the store's cashier during the night of the robbery. Therefore, according to this exhibit it is evident that the source was reliable enough for me to rule that the suspected person is found guilty and should be accountable for his actions according to the law. Becoming accountable for his actions should be either through the payment of the administered fines or taking responsibility for their wrong doings by accepting an arrest to be detained for a specific period. This rule is because that amount found is a huge amount of cash that a person can have without the documentations that would proof that the acquired money was from a task that he had worked for and getting paid for work done.

The second exhibit about the knife would also be used as evidence that Johnson was the person involved in the robbery and also considered a primary suspect. Looking at the testimony given by the police officer who found the knife in the same closet where the money had been placed, I hereby decide that it is right to say that this evidence should also be admissible. The cashier had testified that the robber had used a knife on that day, so that knife could be the same one recovered by the police officer and could serve as an integral piece of evidence to put the suspect away.

The knife is described as a large-hunting type of knife which means that it is not an ordinary type. Through my theory of understanding this case then I would say that the knife is purposely meant for illegal actions such as which Johnson the suspected robber did like threatening the cashier with the knife and also using it to break into the cash register. Hence, the robber should be judged for his actions.

In addition, a security camera videotape is the third exhibit that was introduced on the trial in consideration to the robbery case. A videotape which is a recording of visual images and sound is a reliable source of information. The videotape can be used as evidence on the case to prove that Johnson was the actual robber at the store because the reading on the camera read the exact date of the robbery incident and only ten minutes before 10:00AM as approximated time when it happened.

The images captured on the recording of the videotape show the approximate size of the person who went in the store so the size of the man seen would be noted and could be used to find the culprit. The police detective who testifies on the case says that the person captured on the camera appears to be Johnson. This could be because they have looked into the image and seen Johnson's size which seems to be similar. Just like a thief, the person captured seemed to look from side to side to actually see that no one was seeing him going to the store.

To declare the case closed, as the judge I would demand that Johnson should be held accountable for his wrong doing and that the money should be given back to the cashier.
