According to the report published by ACADIA Pharmaceuticals (2015), the corporation incorporates a combination of project organization structure and the executive and standing committees. This combination ensures that all aspect of structure and management such as level of control, as well as ensuring administrative functions are conducted alongside projects. This structure is in line with the organizational structure requirements that facilitate the successful implementation of plans. The structure requirements also include an adequate level of control to promote innovation. Therefore, to successfully implement the strategy, ACADIA Pharmaceuticals should maintain its organization structure.
Strategic Resources Context
According to Duncan, Swayne, and Ginter (1977), the primary strategic resources include financial, technology, information systems and human resources. The report published by ACADIA Pharmaceuticals (2015) pointed out that they have adequate employees as well as financial and technological resources. Furthermore, the information technology was also on par with the requirements of a successful strategy. These requirements include information system support, adequate workforce as well as sufficient financial support. However, the technologies used by the institution may not be up to date. Therefore, to ensure successful implementation of a strategy, the corporation should change its technology and include technology that is up to date.
