An individual at a high status in the society may commit a criminal offense as a result of the legitimate office that he or she holds; typical examples of the crime of the powerful are fraud, embezzlement, and theft (Rothe, Dawn, and David Kauzlarich, 7). People's thoughts that prioritize making more money than they should or meet the goals and objectives of the organization as expected are illegal. Such choices lead to cover-ups and other criminal activities that are even worse than the original crime.

For instance, a doctor who conducts unnecessary medical services to a patient exposes one to more significant health problems. Also, organizations that manufacture and sell contaminated products put the lives of the consumers in danger. In many cases, such crimes are influenced by greed; our thoughts to achieve more for dosing less is one of the negative choices that people make in life.

I consider it essential to think more critically about the consequences of my choices to avoid involving myself in criminal offenses.
