Introduction

An analytical framework is considered as a source of information to the organization, in finding solutions to a problem and how to come up with them, and the organizational structures. It consists of tools, skills, and techniques that are useful when performing particular research on specific areas, thus simplifies the organization's work. It is, therefore, advisable for an organization or company to turn to its analytical framework when short of solutions since it has the analysis structures or patterns that contain all the information needed, although it does not give guidance on how to use them.

Step 1: Choosing Two Topics to Focus On.

In the paper, the main topics focused on are leadership in organizations and diversity & ethics at work. Leadership is essential to organizations and there is a rapid change in how it is performed. Theories are therefore advised to be conveyed or update the old ones, due to the rapid change in history. To develop an analytical framework, first, the analyst or modeler must be familiar with the tools (Gerdsri and Kocaoglu, 2007, p. 1075). For instance, a mason is not able to use Carpenter's tools to make wood equipment since he lacks the skills and is also not aware of the tools and how they work.

Step 2: An Outline of How to Use Theories to Develop an Analytical Framework and Synergies Between the Two Topics.

Leadership has some theories that impact the organization, such as transformational and servant leadership. Additionally, leaders and the other workers are supposed to be conversant with the ethics and cultural differences. In an organization, the followers and leaders have different ethical beliefs and values and leaders can embrace ethical leadership by ensuring that ethical practices are performed adamantly in their various organizations (Puranam, Raveendran, and Knudsen, 2012, p. 428). The leaders can also practice diversity leadership by recognizing other workers' or followers' cultural preferences. They should know that people have differences when it comes to cultural views or practices and the leaders must be aware of theirs too (Honda, 2018, p. 79). By embracing these theories, there would be good communications, decision making, increase productivity and satisfaction of the workers.

When the leaders have created a relationship with the workers through understanding the diversity and ethics, it can lead to creating work teams. Teamwork is the best aspect because when people work together, they come up with many ideas and suggestions. The decision is made clearly and without haste, this increases the profitability of the organization (Saaty and Kearns, 2014). Through analysis performed on various workplaces, the leaders are advised to treat the workers as fellow workers as and not subjects. They should interact more often and freely, and the organization's operations should also be ethical and sustainable. Its performance is seen to be improving annually and they have even created a new system that will help achieve their goals (Bastian et al., 2019).

Step 3: Relevant Information on the Chosen Organization.

The central focus organization in the paper is The International Business Machines Corporation (IBM). The depicted is a large corporation that employs a large number of people annually. It's a technology company whose organizational structure determines the interactions and communications among the regional offices (Schapper, Malta, and Gilbert, 2017, p. 124). The organization's strategy involves expanding itself globally as well as increasing the outsourcing of its developments and it is in the maturity stage of the organizational life cycle. It has improved since it was created, creating new processes & systems, and now is among the best technology companies (Buschgens, Bausch, and Balkin, 2013, p. 773).

The organization's strategy involves expanding itself globally as well as increasing the outsourcing of its developments (Gallivan, 2001, p. 76). The performance is seen to be improving annually and has even created a new system that will help in achieving their goals, whereas it's industry analysis shows that it earns most of its revenues from the clients and it has the highest global market share by revenues compared to the other technology companies. International Business Machines Corporation's competitors include Xerox, Hewlett-Packard (hp) and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) (Maki-Runsas, Wistrand, and Karlsson, 2019, p. 41).

Step 4: The Key Organizational Issues Faced by International Business Machines Corporation.

The organization has faced leadership challenges, which caused its decline at some points. The leaders do not involve the other citizens in decision making and this profoundly affects a corporation. Bribery and ignorance of other workers' ethical beliefs and diversity have also contributed as a significant challenge to the company (van Loon et al., 2010, p. 104).

Conclusion

The Analytical framework provides an organization with useful information and reusable solutions to various problems they might face. Leadership is an essential aspect in organizations; therefore, leaders must understand and relate well with their workers or followers, know their ethics and embrace diversity leadership.
