Background

Globalization is nothing new; for centuries, people have been buying and selling goods at great distances. The ancient trade that involved Silk Road in Central Asia, which connected Europe and China during the mid-ages, is one of the shreds of evidence of the beginning of globalization (Eriksen, 2018). on the other hand, different corporations later evolved into international trade. The experiences of globalization occurred roughly in the year 1914, and towards the end of the 18th century, Britain began to dominate the world's economic and political disciplines (Eriksen, 2018). Many people across the world began to engage in international trade and cross-border investments aided by the media and information technology. Some of the features of current globalization are the same as those of previous globalization before and after the first world war (Eriksen, 2018). The continuity of globalization is seen from the development and involvement of media.
