The employees are always the backbone of any business organization and determine any future success or failure in ventures. There is a saying that, happy employees are productive. The survey conducted on the employees of the company, gave each employee a chance to choose what they taught constituted change. A bigger section of the employees suggested that a bigger office was what they needed the most. A research on the preferences and their costs to start them .A report on the costs and the quotations for each area of improvement are as follows-
- Bigger offices-90,000USD
- More parking-50,000 USD
- Better Cafeteria-10,000 USD
- New computers-30,000 USD
Analysis of the Findings
The findings show that the company is unable to meet the nee of the majority of the workers who needs a bigger office. The market cost of the project is three times larger than what the company intends to use. The company could have settled for the setting up of a better cafe and even provide more computers as a way of improving the offices. The majority opinion is however, the expansion of the work place.
Recommendations
The management should consider starting by increasing the car parking area, and increase some computers .The budget would still be enough for it to cater for the cafeteria. However if the decision of the majority is to be followed, then the company would have to get a different source of funding and add up to the existing budget .In a situation where the needs of a majority of the employees is to be chosen and the company has no other means of funding the preferred project, the project can be postponed for a foreseeable future to allow the company grow the budget. There can be a meeting with the employees to determine if there can be settling for a project which is less costly and be satisfied with the little progress.

The main reason why over working causes stress among the workers is because of its tendency to cause burn outs. The workers need to be relieved from unnecessary tasks which could make them weak. The employees have families and sometimes have to do family errands. Working for longer hours makes they loose touch with their families making them loose the joy of having a private life(Khamisa.etal,2015). The managers have the largest responsibility of ensuring that a good quality of work is delivered on time. The delivery of quality work is affected by absence of employees and even missing of deadlines. They incur losses and blames. This cause psychological torture hence inability to focus on the current work
Recommendation
The companies and employers should always moderate the work assigned to the employees so that they may have enough rest and avoid fatigue which could result to a burn out. Working hours should be set as per the law and the workers should not be pressurized to stay for longer hours .The employers should try create a bond with individual employee and appreciate them for the contribution. The workers should always report to work punctually and deliver quality work on time to avoid stressing their managers. Rules should be set to guide these recommendations.
