As a member of the Democrat party, she has propelled her party towards many critical legislative victories. For example, in the 114th congress, she was at the forefront in the passing of the bipartisan agreement that aims at strengthening Medicare to improve the quality of care and enhance the accuracy of payments. She was able to unite the Democrats in repealing the Affordable Care Act against the Republicans. Additionally, she also unanimously led the opposition of the GOP tax fraud meant for the rich.

Economically, Pelosi has played an instrumental role in the passing of various bills. Examples include Wall Street reforms to reform the financial aid system and protect consumers. She has also been at the forefront of the fight for environmental conservation. She pushed for legislation of comprehensive energy, a bill meant to raise the standard for vehicle efficiency. In 2009, under her leadership, the historic Clean Energy and Security act got passed to combat the problems related to climate and create clean energy jobs to make America a clean energy economy ("Biography," n.d.).

In my opinion, Nanci Pelosi is an extraordinary leader and politician whose brilliant leadership over the years and dedication has led to stupendous achievements. She is a great icon and role model to both the male and female gender. Throughout her political career, Pelosi has had numerous successes, which have brought immense positive impacts both to the economy and the citizens of the United States. Even though criticism is a problem, everyone who is in a leadership position faces, she never allows it to pull her down, but instead uses it to improve her performance.

She has fearlessly fought for the American people's rights and led in the passing of various bills to improve the economy and climate.
