Introduction

Yes. I have always been passionate about arts and design, especially the fine arts. I have always had a unique like in architectural designs, particularly the Roman and Classical Greek designs. A pivotal moment for art came during my elementary school final years when we visited a national museum that harbors numerous global works of arts. Some of these pieces of work are as old as over 500 years. The feeling of being remembered and relevant for many centuries drove me to the arts.

Do you have any advice for young artists?

My advice to young artists is that they should strive to deliver pure gold. They should be focused and concerned more with the delivery of outstanding and excellent work rather than desiring to impress others and earn quick money. Arts is a work of passion and not much on pay. Therefore, a young artist should be concerned with gradual progress and developing and adding value to the work. Finally, originality and creativity are everything when it comes to artworks.

Could you talk about the training you receive for becoming an artist? Do you think the training exerts a deep influence on your creative activities?

About the artists’ training, it is more of a ground-breaking phenomenon. It is a period through which a person gets the relevant foundational information on arts. It activates the creativity buried in a person, thereby making it possible for the artist to explore and apply these creativities. The training had a profound influence on creative skills as it opened my eyes to the ways I can best utilize the skills.

Do you think there is a close relationship between your living circumstances and your artworks? If so, how do you think the circumstances influence your works?

The living circumstance has an excellent correlation with my artwork. Most of the work that I make as an artist is a reflection of my living circumstances. The experiences of life that I go through are what inspire mew towards the creation of my artworks.

How do you know when it is time to completely stop working on one artwork? Are you satisfied with your creation when you leave off it?

A piece of artwork is complete when it meets and exceeds all the requirements that I had acquired through brainstorming. At times, it is hard to realize this point. Therefore, I invite people to come and criticize the piece of artwork and give their feedback. The feedback will thus determine whether I can completely stop working on the piece. I am always satisfied when I stop working on an artwork.
