Introduction
Drunken Master is among the interesting documentary films of all time. The movie briefly talks about one of the martial arts called Drunken Kung fu fist. The Drunken martial art was commonly practiced by the Chinese people in their temples during their past. The characters of the Drunken Master film are Jackie Chan and his Master Yuen Siu-Tien. The film has been presented in an orderly manner, with Jackie Chan being the starring of the film. Jackie Chan has a trait of rudeness, as depicted in the movie. This is because he escaped from his home after he was enrolled by his father in a tough training pertaining to martial arts. Jackie decided to left his home, and his departure forced him to seek training from his aunt. The martial art that has been employed by the movie is considered interesting among the Chinese people. This is because it reveals how someone can use his tactical skills to emerge a winner when involved in a dangerous situation, thus saving his or her life. The other purpose of the film is to entertain and educate people concerning their skills. Effective use of skills, together with determination in people's lives, would enable them to achieve their goals. The paper will, therefore, discuss what is entailed in the Drunken Master, the thesis of the film, my first reaction regarding the film, and the strategies employed by the filmmaker to enhance the effective production of the film. It will also focus on my point of view concerning the film art work. Moreover, the film will look at the opinion of the people towards the film and my stand on some of the ways on how the film could have been done better.
The main thesis of the Film
The main thesis of Drunken Master is the part where Jackie Chan plays in the Martial arts. The thesis of the film has been well organized, such that it has an introductory part. The introduction part is important among the viewers since it enables them to identify the main characters. It also gives direction to the audience, thus enabling them to know what the movie entails. The plot also emphasizes on theme of determination, change, and perseverance. Also, the thesis focuses on martial arts that were initially used by the Chinese people in their past when engaged in a challenge with their enemies (Lampe, Jan, 17). Furthermore, the thesis majorly dwelt at techniques applied by various Masters while teaching martial arts to their students, for instance, Kung fu. Firstly, Drunken fist kung fu is majorly characterized by the imitation of a Drunken person when fighting with an enemy. The other uniqueness of Drunken fist kung fu that is usually not present in other martial arts is that it is applied at a faster speed, thereby limiting time for the enemy to attack you.

Drunken Master is a film that talks about one of the martial arts called Drunken fist kung fu. Also, the Drunken Master reveals the characters of the film and the part they play throughout the film. Jackie Chan is one of the main characters in the film who joined Drunken fist kung fu, regardless of tough rules pertaining to this type of martial. (Hill, Murray Robert, 27). The part that Jackie Chan has played in the film is being the starring of the movie and also demonstrating the challenges that people usually face in their daily lives. Moreover, the film mentioned Mr. Lee had been depicted by the director of the film to be a threat to people. The director of the film portrayed Mr. Lee's traits as related to inhumanity when he planned to assassinate Jackie Chan's father.

My initial reactions when I first watched the film was being shocked, especially when I saw some characters struggling hard in their training in the temple, for instance, Jackie Chan. The part that shocking was an instance where the Master revealed his secrete technique called Drunken Kung fu fist. I become so amazed about this type of martial technique due to the rules pertaining to it, such as maintaining a high level of discipline throughout the training program.
What other things has the filmmaker made? Have you seen their other works? How does it compare?
The filmmaker has incorporated other effective styles, for instance, the use of directions. Drunken Master-art has been presented in such a way that it attracts the viewer. This can be seen in the way the filmmaker explains how the scene began. The movie begins by highlighting Jackie Chan's departure from his home after he refused to enroll in martial art offered by his father, Therefore, making the viewer be aware of what will be taking place in the film. The comparison of the artworks from other martial arts is basically about the rules governing it.
What have other people said about the film
Most of the people have raised their claims concerning Drunken Master film. Some of them view the Drunken Master as an effective one of the effective tools for educating people. This is because the arts entail in the movie majorly focus on determination and perseverance to achieve our set goals. People view Drunken Master as an educative tool since it has enabled them to learn on strategies that should be adopted to fight with the challenges of their lives. Jackie Chan is among the characters who showed perseverance when he joined the Drunken martial art regardless of tough training that was offered by his Master.

In conclusion, I consider the main idea of the Drunken Master film to be well constructed and presented because of the following reasons. Firstly, the filmmaker has presented this movie in a good manner by adhering to themes, i.e., there is the theme of determination and perseverance. The idea of the filmmaker has been structured accordingly such that people can learn on the importance of determination and perseverance when aiming for their goals. The filmmaker has also organized his art of work by mentioning the main characters of the film to avoid confusion to the audience while watching it that might make them feel bored. If I was a filmmaker, I would focus on inclusivity. The issue of inclusivity will come in when giving out roles to each character throughout the film. Having more attention on equality while presenting my arts of works would help to give the opportunity to all characters, thus enabling them to express their general ideas towards the subject matter of the film.
