Introduction
Food preparation primarily entails a sequential number of procedures. Before coming up with n idea of preparing a particular meal, all the necessities should be present. Different consideration measures need to be put in concern specifically to avoid complications that may arise during the cooking process (Elfaham et al., 2019, July). Moreover, the foremost consideration, according to the videos, is that specific meals one wants to prepare, ingredients for such a particular meal, and lastly, appropriate equipment. These videos depict the importance of having one specific procedure specifically for making a specific meal. Every meal usually has a specified recipe for it to be successful in intake according to the videos.
What standards might be included for the recipes - for food service operations?
However, it is clear that all recipes are no longer created in an equal manner; there are different requirements. Some recipes in their preparation seem to have some different faulty seasonings, missing ingredients, inadequate or insufficient instructions, which ultimately causes more work. Therefore, there is a need to have a standardized recipe for successful outcomes. Standardized recipes entail a set of transcribed directives, which are usually used to adequately prepare a specified quality or quantity of particular food for specific locations (Patil & Pol, 2014). Recipes that are standardized typically produce a particular product that seems to be adequately close to having identical tastes. The above is depicted from the videos whereby omelet, Caesar salad, and chocolate cake follow some procedures which strictly seem to be closely related. Appropriate recipes that should be included in recipes are menu item name, total yield, portion size, quantity. Moreover, preparation procedures and cooking time and temperatures should be included, servicing instructions, and finally, plating means.
How different concepts with different value proportions, price points, equipment and staff expertise might alter the way these recipes are made, if possible and how they would be differently organized
Different concepts in the application of recipe preparation may affect them positively or negatively according to the mode in which they are (Patil & Pol, 2014). Proper organization means of standardization measures results in a positive outcome t the recipes, and the food expected to be prepared. Therefore, as a chef, there is a need to adequately make proper consideration of appropriate standardization measures hence positive results.
