The period between World War I and World War II was characterized by a lot of political alignment across the world. Efforts were being made to end the wars and create a peaceful globe. During the regime, there were various types of governance and governments. Different spectrum compelled to different kinds of management, which include fascism, communism, capitalism, and dictatorship (O'Brien, 2018). This paper will analyze a video analysis of the scope of the ruling of Benito Mussolini with regards to the formation of movements for change, government authorities, and the aspects of foreign policy.
Benito Mussolini served as the Italian Prime Minister from 1922 to 1943. Until 1925, it stopped embracing the constitution and established dictatorship (White, 2019). After watching the video, I discovered that the system of governance introduced by the politician inspired several subsequent totalitarian rulers. Mussolini was the founder of s system of government called fascism, which had it cause bestowed in a movement called National Fascist Party. Mussolini, in 1912 was a member of the National Directorate of the Italian Socialist Party. However, he was later expelled after he expressed his interest in the Italian military intervention World War I (White, 2019).
The analysis of the video of Benito Mussolini reveals a lot about his ruling the spectrum of fascism. For the sake of democracy, there are several parts of the entire video that are worth to be evaluated to define the true scope of how fascism looked and how its cause was transformed to impact the world today. The foreign policy during the regime of Mussolini sends a strong message to the universe. In the video, analysis reveals that Mussolini`s foreign policy was bestowed to show the world that Italy had a robust power under his leadership. The study also reveals that Mussolini wanted to re-establish the greatness of the Roman Empire. Thus, he believed that by conquering foreign territory could be a great sign of high power. Through the approach, Mussolini significantly impacted Italian politics during his regime. Many of the impacts were very adverse on the side of the common Italian man.
Movements from Italians encountered the cause of Mussolini`s fascism. The video reveals how the Mussolini`s goons attacked the socialist to bring in the scope of fascism. The destroyed properties killed people and also compressed the democracy to make them emerge as the superior force. As a result, Italians who negatively perceived fascism formed both violent and non-violent movements to riot against the political system. The scope of fascism and the demonstration significantly impacted the social, economic, and political spheres of Italy.
The Mussolini`s fascism, which was a dictatorship regime, was built on the total domination of the Italian government in all spheres of the political, social, economic, and cultural environment (White, 2019). The scope modeled the government authorities concerning the loss of personal liberties. The liberties of the socialists who opposed fascism were a vulnerable group whose liberties were at stake during the regime Mussolini.
The video has touched on many scopes of fascism and dictatorship all together. However, it has not delved so much in them Mussolini`s conquering of foreign territories. Another aspect that has not been discussed in detail in the video is how fascism would have been received in the world if it were to be applied today. On the other hand, it has adequately disclosed the impacts of fascism and dictatorship and why it is a threat to democracy. The video has enhanced my understanding of the past political systems and their consequences. The knowledge is fundamental to me since I can thus critically analyze the scope of democracy and interpret why fascism and dictatorship are not valid in the world today.
