According to Adler Mortimer, "The Great Ideas" art entails a myriad of subjects designed in a comprehensive criterion to create meaning (Adler 180). He adds that arts and sports are the primary universal languages available, which has always created difficulties in blending. Still, when done, they create the best physical, emotional along with intellectual expression. When art and sports are done together, they facilitate a candid interpretation of meaning across the world since they create more apparent meanings due to the ability to reach the mass of people as the blend crosses borders and multiple cultures. The expression in art and sports create a more powerful platform that has the potential of reaching and connecting with a massive audience across the globe.
Similarly, when the two disciplines are done together, they quickly tap into the creative minds of the upcoming generation due to their profound evaluation ability. In this regard, they can develop fresh ideas along with newer perspectives that could facilitate peaceful co-existence across the world. It is because, in realistic scrutiny of the blend, there looms an aspect of creativity, imagination as well as personal expression. Therefore, one would begin to view things more practically.
Besides, developing a realistic blend make the existing connection between sports and arts more apparent since one can identify the underlying possibilities in bringing the two disciplines together. In general, they form an ideal platform for interaction through critically engaging personal ideas and thoughts. Adler Mortimer clarifies that if we communicate, there is an excellent understanding between each other since blending art and sports lays a solid foundation for a more peaceful environment (Adler 183).
Bringing art and sports together creates a desire to proceed beyond the existing binaries alongside the beliefs that categorizes body sectioning as a detrimental factor to wellbeing. Therefore, the blend creates an aspect of truth and goodness through the creation of enormous success in identifying the role of the two disciplines in a peacebuilding process. Also, the aesthetic value derived from blending the two aspects creates a profound sense of beauty by bringing out a clear understanding of contemporary society.
For instance, the White Card campaign has effectively worked in raising the awareness of sport's contribution towards peacebuilding (Adler 178). It is because of the essential blend of art and sports that the body uses to communicate. The beauty of the communication that is derived from the aesthetic value and the clarity of the information achieved through joining the two blends together make it more strategic.
On balance, the philosophical value of the bringing art and sports together has not been clear to most of the people in the society since the two aspects are rarely brought together. However, on playing the two disciplines together, there exist desirable outcomes that go beyond an individual interest but cover a higher percentile of the universe. Also, downplaying the two subjects creates a more understanding of the cultural value that adds more to the virtues of goodness and truth.
