America is known to be a superpower with a powerful military and a stable economy. This has made it stand firm among other countries and having China as a close competitor. It is exceptional in the sense that it's every move is always successful and has a deep root in religious practices, culture, and history. Globally it is recognized as the most powerful and has in the past won wars with different nations to the point of being called the 'the city on the hill.' The American's lifestyle was war; they were known for action, but lately, they go of war with a purpose. They now focus on global unity other than conflict and misunderstandings (Sachs, 2018). The victory they get has been justified in God's name, and they believe that they are favoured whenever they go for war. However, the belief that the action is righteous has brought major conflict among nations and also lousy blood instead of victory and security, which they were intended to bring about.

America First Doctrine

The doctrines' main aim is to harness benefits that may be extracted anytime America is internationally involved, and it seems so at all cost. This is considered the unspoken, desirable, and realistic mainstay of many country's foreign policies. Trumps' staunch, straightforward, and stinger approach has taken it to the next levels, and the government is gradually losing its hegemonic position. The united states remain the most powerful and most prosperous country globally, but this largely depends on the excellent relationship it has with other countries (Murtala, 2018). Trump's attitude and rhetoric while handling refugees and his Europe dysfunctional relationship among others contribute significantly to the United States' hegemonic position.

Trump's Anachronistic Policy

The policy that Trump made is leading America's economy downwards. Barring of entry into the country and also seven Muslim countries is causing disunity, which will cause economic instability (Baldwin, 2017). The USA is busy pointing out to other countries, yet it was the first to undermine the global system. It also failed to ratify an UN-backed treaty. Trump also made a withdrawal statement from the Paris Climate Agreement (Sachs, 2018). America has been taking foreign policy measures. Most countries have ratified and signed the UN treaties, but America has not. America also undermined US-Russian nuclear cooperation. It makes decisions that would later affect the Americans in the future and even interfere with their peace and unity with other countries.

The Economic Balance Sheet on America First

Trump believes that foreign policy would help Americans save jobs and income. His economic content is to aggressively protect trade by closing borders to migration, reject china's investment in USA institutions, economic sanctions against USA adversaries, among other measures.

President Trump has misguided claims regarding investment policies and Americans International trade. He claims that by getting uncompromising, American firms moving to Mexico and China will be restored. At this point, he has a genuine phenomenon, which is the offshoring of the jobs but has exaggerated its importance.

There is slow motion trade between China and Mexico that started in 2018 when Trump decided to impose protective tariffs on items such as solar panels, washing machines, and aluminium. The Trump administration is also closing down big companies in the USA market to China, such as Huawei. This clearly shows how things are about to get worse economically and even international relations. Trump is trying to get back at the USA competitors in a challenging way, which could cause a massive downfall in the world's most robust economy (Sachs, 2018).

Conclusion

Trump is known to be a racist, and so he highly discourages trade or even partnerships with countries such as China. He may have good intentions for America, but his choices would ruin the unity and the peace that America has with other nations once the USA economy is destroyed; it would a very long time to bring it back to where it was. China and other competing countries would take up the advantage and ensure that America never leads economically ever again, especially during the era of Donald Trump. However, before things get messy to the point of no return, something should be done to rescue the situation before it gets worse than it already is.
