Introduction

Several features initiate the current trends of China as an emerging superpower stature. China has also launched its first Human in space which makes them join the Soviet Union and the United States as the only countries that have launched a human into space.

Additionally, the media has noticed a rise in Chinas efforts to diversify and expand its accessibility to oil sources in Africa, Middle East, and Latin America as compared to the United States (Morag, 2018). The words most industrialized states, for example, the United States have been affected by the loss of manufacturing jobs, high labor costs, and proliferation of Chinese products in the market. This paper analyses how and why established superpowers are overtaken by emerging superpowers a case study of China.

The expansion of Chinas economic interactions makes it an emerging superpower. The treasury bonds that 0077ere used to finance Bush budgetary constraints and the Americas campaign season, purchase of Lenovo by IBM personal computer depicts Chinas trade surplus with the United States (Miller, 2016). Additionally, China has a leading place when it comes to heavy industries, for example, steel and shipbuilding. China is also characterized by low labor cost materials. The size of Chinas GDP puts it a member of the most industrialized economies though it's far from a superpower stature, for instance, Chinas foreign exchange rate in the year 2013 was US$ 1.159 trillion and was sixth in the world. China is characterized by a high proportion of exports making it sensitive to ups and downs in the economic markets it's also an engine of the United States consumption. Additionally Chinas wave of industrialization shows that it is almost the same level as the United Staes, Japan, and South Korea. China faces stiff competition from these countries.

The standards of living of the Chinese has not reached that of wealthy countries, but it has shifted from low to Medium level income country meaning there is a significant increase in the purchasing power due to high population, due to this the Chinese global economic impact is spectacular.

China is also concentrated with a modern military that has influenced much attention since the beginning of the 1990's. For example the growth of strategic missiles (Miller, 2016). Modernization of the military helps China meet its objectives about Taiwan. Additionally Chinas political influence reflects a reversal of its position. The missile in China is deployed in large numbers to counter the American ballistic Missile defense and a possibility to prevent Chinas nuclear deterrent.

Chinas growth in political influence has been on the rise within the past decades; this rise portrays its reversal in the international order. When China entered the United Nations in the year 1971, it obtained a legal standing in the international community thus incrementing traditional diplomacy and accessibility to the international economy to carry on with its national interest abroad.

Another factor that makes China an upcoming superpower is that is culture has fascinated the Western countries; it's a major tourist attraction. American students are studying Chinese, they are also taking time out of the study in China itself, through this China is growing as a land of opportunity.

Conclusion

The growth of China in the past two decades has been promising as it establishes itself as a great power nation and is on par with countries like Great Britain, Japan, Russia, and Japan.
