Introduction
Drunkard's master is among the interesting documentary films. The movie briefly talks about one of the martial arts called Kung fu, and this martial art is commonly used by the Chinese people when there are in a challenge with their enemies. Jackie Chan and his master Yuen Siu-Tien have been drawn as the main characters in the film. The film introduces Jackie Chan escaping from his home after he was enrolled by his father in a tough training pertaining to martial arts. Jackie decided to left his home place and went to seek training from his aunt. The martial art that has been employed by the movie is seen to be interesting among the people who have to watch it. It reveals how someone can use his skills to win when involved in a certain challenge. The film's purpose is to entertain and educate people concerning their skills. Effective use of skills, together with determination in people's lives, would enable them to achieve their goals. The paper will, therefore, discuss what is entailed in the drunkard master, the thesis of the film, my reaction regarding the film, and things that have to been done to enhance the effective production of the film. It will also focus on my opinion concerning the film work and its contrast. Moreover, the film will look at people's view of the film and my stand on some of the ways on how the film could have been done better.
The Main Thesis of the Film
The thesis of the film starts with its introduction, whereby there is the introduction of the main characters. The plot also emphasizes on theme of determination, change, and perseverance. It also focuses on martial arts used by the Chinese in their past when engaged in a challenge with their enemies (Lampe, Jan, 17). Furthermore, the thesis majorly dwelt at techniques used by the master while teaching martial arts, for instance, Kung fu. Also, it presents styles used by the filmmakers to construct and present their artworks to avoid misleading the audience. The thesis further looks at the main interest of Jackie Chan in Martial training arts known as Drunkard master.
The Style Used by the Filmmaker
The common style that was incorporated by the filmmaker is a dialogue (Bender, Stuart, 20). There are various instances of dialogues in the movie. One of the situations where dialogue has been depicted is an occasion where Jackie Chan enters the restaurant when he felt thirst. He meets with the owner of the hotel and order for a meal. Because he had no money, he was forced to fight as a way of escaping. He tried his best while fighting, but it was all in vain. What made his escape is the assistance that he received from drunkard old man. As a result, the issue of dialogue come in when his life was rescued by the drunkard master, where he engaged with him in a conversation and later took him to enrol martial art commonly known as Drunkard master.
What Is the Documentary About?
Drunkard's master is a film that reveals more about martial arts that were usually used by the chinse people during their fights. This technique is associated with the use of secrete techniques when engaged in a challenge to fight with enemies. The main uniqueness of drunkard master art from other martial arts is that it is applied at a faster speed, thereby limiting time for the enemy to attack you. The documentary also reveals the characters of the film and the part they occupied throughout the film. Jackie Chan was one of the main characters in the film who joined drunkard master regardless of tough rules that were offered by this type of martial arts during training (Hill, Murray Robert, 27). His part was to represent the challenges that humans endure in their daily lives because he managed to persevere in the training program. Moreover, the film mentioned Mr Lee as the main threat to the people who were living in that era. Mr Lee had plans of assassinating Jackie Chan's father, but it was unfortunate he did not succeed, Jackie Chan rescued the life of his father from being assassinated.
What Were Your Initial Reactions to the Film?
My first reaction when I first watched the film was the issue of being shocked. I was surprised to see Jackie Chan being enrolled in a tough training starting from his father's training to his master's training. The part that shocked me most was an instance where the master revealed his secrete technique called Kungfu kicking when Jackie Chan was almost to be defeated while defending his father from being assassinated.

The filmmaker has incorporated other effective styles, for instance, the use of directions. Drunkard's master has been presented in such a way that it attracts the viewer. This can be seen in the way the filmmaker explains how the scene began. The movie started by highlighting Jackie Chan's departure from his home after he refuses to be enrolled in a martial art by his father. Therefore, making the viewer get the background of the film before watching it. The works of the filmmakers are closely related because they use effective directions to enable the viewer to have a hint on what the film entails, thus making, he/she to enjoy it.
What Have Other People Said About the Film
Most of the people have raised their claims concerning drunkard master film. Some of them view drunkard master as educating because the arts entail in the movie requires determination and perseverance to endure it. This is evident when Jackie Chan become determined and joined the martial art regardless of tough training that was offered by his master. Other people also view drunkard master as educative since it enables them to learn ways coping with challenges in their lives.

In conclusion, I consider the main ideas of the drunkard master film as well constructed and presented because of the following reasons. Firstly, the filmmaker has presented this movie in a good manner such that he has adhered to the issue of themes, i.e., the theme of determination and perseverance. It has also been structured in such a way that people can learn on the importance of determination and perseverance while aiming for our goals. He has also organized his art of work by mentioning the main characters of the film to avoid confusion to the audience while watching. If I was a filmmaker, I would focus on inclusivity by having more attention on equality when presenting my arts of works. To achieve this, I would give an opportunity to all characters to express their ideas towards the subject matter of the film regardless of their gender.
