Django (1966) Movie Essay

(2) In the scene, the use of clothing is one of the film element used to achieve expression of the difference between the soldiers and the civilians. (4) Since people understand Django as a killer who cannot be easily intimidated, it is ironical how he lets himself be mistreated by the Mexican soldiers. (4) Technically, the behavior by Django portrays him a person who wanted to reach General Hugo by all means, that is why the director makes Franco Nero neglect his characteristics in the movie and agree to be beaten.

(1) Lastly, the scene of the return of General Hugo, Django, and his soldiers from stealing the gold is to be considered as well for this section of the essay. (2) The director uses stage directions to express joy among the soldiers who stole the gold and the ones who remained back in the camp. (3) In my opinion, the expression of joy is achieved in this scene with laughter, dances, and drinking. (4) From the way, all the soldiers laughed, drank and celebrated clearly indicated happiness.

My Criteria for Quality in Film

One important characteristic of quality cinema is one that presents a situation where a problem is solved as opposed to one where a problem is created and left unsolved.

Secondly, a movie is more likely to be good if it is full of creativity, especially if it comes up with innovations that people did not know. For instance, in the Django movie, the innovation of the machine gun is creativity that made the movie interesting.

A good movie feature drive, for instance, creating suspense in movies make viewers develop the urge to watch the movie until the end.

Quality movie feature mass appeal, that is, the movie should be one that appeals to many people as opposed to being consumable to only a section of people.

Lastly, a good film should be original in script and screenplay. Originality makes more people want to watch the movie as opposed to movies with repeated ideas in script and screenplay.
