How Do You Feel About the Topic?

I feel that the topic is more based on the scientific facts rather than the religious facts. However, the topic does not consider those who do not believe in the scientific theory. I believe that the topic strategizes at bringing more understanding on life after death, and to show that our lives continue in the eternity in other forms rather than the physical body. In many cases, people who die never come back to tell what they saw, since it death is a different journey and there is no coming back. I feel that the topic also needs to include some of the religious views on whether death is final or not. However, from the debate, I could say that it is true that death is not final and there is life after death since we are special creatures with souls. As supported by both the science and the religious verses, God is a sole creator and created human beings different from others such as they have full cautious of what they are doing and they are they have the conscience of making the decision in-universe and therefore monitoring every creation.

Is Your Mind Changed After Watching the Debate?

Concerning the debate on conscious and life after death, I was undecided on whether there is life after we die or not. However, after watching the clip on the debate, I had a slight change of my perception on the topic. I am convinced substantially with the idea of consciousness on how the brain is independent of the non-physical consciousness. However, from my understanding, I know that death is only final to human beings in the physical life, but later on, their souls exist in the other invisible world.

What Were Some of the Points Made?

There are significant points made regarding the state of consciousness and brain in human life. Research conducted by scientists supports the idea that consciousness (the soul) genuinely exist and can somehow get separated outside the world and can go to another dimension on its own. The experience of the individuals who had experienced a near-death vision such as coma depicts that consciousness exists regardless of whether the normal functioning of the brain stops. It explains that there is the afterlife. If we take an assumption that conscious experiences rely entirely on the brain, then there can never be an afterlife when the brain is absent, then the mind is gone. However, this is refuted by the pint that, even when the brain appears to be almost disabled, people still have experienced.

What Points Were Particularly Interesting?

First, the interesting points that I grasped from this debates are that, the experience that one encounter while dying or the near-death experiences are secret to the one who is undergoing it only. And whatever is all about is the consciousness that could be stirred by something mesmerizing occurring in the brain.

Second, another interesting point that I noted after the debate is that, there are some of the part in us that appear to be intimately related to our consciousness what we are, and who we are, that is more than the physical brain we have; and it is non-physical. Some refer it to the soul, and the name varies since there is not the specific term that is established to refer to the thing. Each shared evidence that is extracted from the near-death experiences all persuasively point to the deduction that consciousness that important part of who we are, services the physical brain death.

Third, it was interesting to learn that, our conscious is separated wholly from our mind, and our conscious makes us understand what is going on around us. Through this point of view, I closely relate this notion with the religious perception of life after death, and this is a distinct instance where science meets religion.

Since the debate has proven that the physical brain is separate from the human consciousness, then there is an existence of life after death. Therefore, there is both the heaven and hell. The consciousness is what some refer to as the soul, whereby, as from the religious point of view, someone's consciousness will settle depending on their religious deeds and believes, consequently meaning that our conscious (souls) service in the eternity.

Also, the brain is the main determinant of our survival in the earth, if the brain ceases from operating, then it will separate with our conscious and leave the body to travel to another dimension of the world, and this is what some would refer to as the ghost. In that case, the conscious will not be visible to the human eyes but by the spiritual eyes.

Lastly, I would like to add that; our conscious is the one that will determine our fate in life after death depending on our deeds made while we are alive.
