1. Historical Significance of the Speech
The circumstances that led to speech being given was a celebration of the contributions women make in every aspect of life and to give voices to women everywhere whose experiences go unnoticed, whose words go unheard. Women are also dying from diseases that should have been taken to control or treated. Children succumb to malnutrition caused by poverty and deprivation. The rights to go to school are also denied by their brothers and fathers. They are barred from the bank offices, banned from ballot boxes and also forced to prostitution. Women who cannot afford healthcare or childcare, women whose lives are threatened by violence in their homes due to minimum wages (American Rhetoric: Hillary Rodham Clinton, 1). That's why this speech was an appropriate to be said so that women could be recognized in their hard work their do in their homes, workplace, and offices, even to our nation in supporting fully in building our country without them things could not have been the way they are today. They participate in balloting to win countries love in making the world grow bigger.
Elizabeth Macon gave this speech in relation to whose rights are violated. William Nathan was the intended audience and it was received in God's blessings and many thanks to him. All were very happy to come to listen to the speech they took it kindly in leaving their work, for them who had errands to attend, meetings to attend left all that pending just to listen to the beautiful speech. Before the speech started all arose for a prayer and acknowledged Gods presence to fill the room.
2. Delivery Techniques
Women in Paris coming composed to relax when knowing that their children are cared for and even in schools. Women who help in struggle help in democracy too. Most women try to build up business such as small shops, selling clothes and even tailoring .This create togetherness among their communities. Most of the women are in prostitution, while others chased from offices and balloting. Others luck attention in medication, food is a hinder to their families. Children are not attending schools due to lack of wages. Violence in their homes appear to them and even they receive threats.
The style Elizabeth used to address the audience really helped much people out there who thoughts women human rights are violated and women rights too. The effectiveness was okay to the audience because it opened other people's eyes to stop judging harshly to our women. The are really are helpful to our nation. She could have been more effective in body language in impressing the audience. Moving about with body movements, making sign languages even the facial expression should have been used to create laughter and wake up the moods of the audience because most of them felt sleepy. Elizabeth showed a bitter face to the audience, although the audience clapped their hands to whatever good point she made.
3. Organization Techniques
The African Nation World Conference on Women was invited by the Secretary General. Elizabeth participated in the Help Women Fund and individual citizens are occupied to address the health glitches of women and adolescents. She will be appearing the America Fund for Women. This dialogue will be aiming on confined and vastly prosperous courses that give punctilious ladies entree to tribute so they can progress their peculiar lives and the lives of their relations. This organizations help women out there who their lives are not well shaped and are having problems in their homes in parental child care or even health wise with loans, NHIFs, give them business ideas to manage their own businesses.
Ms. Elizabeth strong point was based on human rights and women rights. She needed people to hear the cry of our women suffering from the inside without no once help. They try as much to help our people, serve our countries with hard work and not even forgetting our families they make sure at least they provide for a particular part on our homes. She cried out for all organizations to help our children get to school even the older women who have not gotten educated yet to grasp something from schools in order to help in the future society. In medical hospitals, women who are giving birth to be given medical attention with or without money. The weakest point in the speech organization came across when the audience did not feel entertained with the speaker.
The speech lacked laughter, jokes, and proverbs to make it more interesting. Besides that more of the audience fell asleep due to a fluent speech without jovial acts. There was no time for the guests to speak. At least one organization member to say something. They would have been a translator translating other words in any different languages. There would also have inserted screen shots of women being violated to make it more appealing to the audience. The introduction was well conducted beginning with a prayer was the best thing to do. The congregation liked that and were happy about that. It was well organized and easier to follow. Fluent English flowed well in the room. Finally the organization came out and cheeped in some money to help the women in need. It was really kind, and women received it with a heavy heart. Although they did not speak much about the violation in women's rights but they did something that not many of other people could have done.
