One of the inspirations to Bjerk was that architecture is a display of creativity in our imagination that can only be portrayed with implementation (Llorca, Josep, et al., 2018, pg. 46). The first project was Mountain Dwelling which is located on the VM houses in the Orestad. Together with his team, they also designed 8 House in Denmark, the Danish Maritime Museum, the pavilion in Shangai which was created in the shape of a loop, the National Library of Kazakhstan in Astana, the Lego house in Billund, Denmark, an architecture which many termed as incredible on its completion (Segalowitz, 2018, pg200). He began the Google new headquarters in the Mountain View, California together with Thomas Heathwick.

His childhood inspired the architecture of Bjerk as he studied to perfect his drawing skill, thinking that he would be a cartoonist someday in the future. This is where his skills in architecture begun and advanced. The rest of his studies at higher levels focuses on architecture and therefore gave him the perfectionist skills in architecture. His early learning in drawing enabled him to make the best architectural drawing. He also taught architecture at various universities as a visiting professor. It was probably this part that he developed most skill since teaching involved many practical for the accuracy of the learning. Bjerk also participated in many competitions involving architecture and therefore during these times, he got to explore more on the opportunities that were lying before him in architecture.

His life has been full of, and he continues to stern the world with his daily new enlistment of new architectural designs. He has gone to a global scope where he is called in countries all over the world as they hire his architectural services. This is an inspiration to many more architects who are still out there that they should forward to more sophisticated architecture.
