Introduction
Globally many aspects in life contribute to the destabilization of power balances attributed to the economic crisis, natural disasters, terrorist activities, among other volatile market crises. These eventualities in life on one nation have become a worldwide concern through the rapid technological advancement the glowing global age in political science (Magstadt, 2017). Therefore, the study of political science entails on exposing learners on nature, causes, and consequences attributed to actions and collective decision-making powers of institutions and other structures of authority. The critical assessment of global patterns and events of politics and governance generate the relevance of the roles played by different governmental wings of power and policymakers to strategize of crisis solution or recovery systems. Through this body of knowledge, it is important to assess the importance of studying political science.
Majoring in political science studies deepen learner's knowledge and understanding on the authority forces exercising power over the people, corporates, or communities. By exposing political science students on the knowledge and understanding on the systems of governance and structures of political power for the future decision-making process in investments or political engagement and government prediction on the political direction of a nation (Magstadt, 2017). In the discipline, political science offers a different critical body of knowledge in critical thinking on qualitative thinking as well as the ability to assess statistical argument regarding the modern livelihood of the global village (Rybnikov, Rybnikova, & Portnov, 2017). Further, the theoretical understanding of political and governance climate brings out proper understanding on the analytical thinking on the essences of life crisis and economic growth of a nation considering the distribution and exercise of power on the people or community as well as corporations in business development for the financial stability of the nations (Grinin, Korotayev, & Tausch, 2016). Conclusively, the study of political science exposes candidates to the better understanding and knowledge of their civil rights, clarification of political believes, understanding the subject of politics in day-to-day living, and critical evaluation of political ideologies in the democratic form of political parties.
