The major insights manifested from the video is that there are very different misconceptions narrated about race that tend to affect the judgment of reality amongst different races. For instance, in the video, the white race students expect having more benefits through scholarships without considering the numbers and believe that they deserve it all, while on the other hand, the other races think that the white race is very greedy.

What comments, reactions, and or experiences in the video surprised you the most?

The most comments that surprised me the most is how the white race perceived their superiority in everything. For instance, it is clear that the scholarship issue was mostly the most eye opener issues that defined how the white have greater opportunities than the other race. Also, it is evident that most white families merely discuss the race issue in America.

What can we do with the information presented in this video?

The information presented on the video can be useful in educating those people who are still clinging on race as an issue. It is evident in the video that after a series of conversation with the young white people, it turned out that they believed that race is a significant issue and starts with what is perceived by any given race and to avoid that critical conversation about the topic should be discussed.

How can we improve intercultural interactions amongst one another? What role can we each play?

To improve intercultural interaction amongst one another, it is critical that every race lower their expectation themselves and start acknowledging other races and understanding them better. It will be, and if that is attained then there will be no racial issues; instead, there will be positive interaction of intercultural among people. The major role that each can play in this act is creating awareness and groups to discuss the effects of discrimination and advocate for cross-cultural interaction because there is no superior individual but equal.

How might a focus on the "individual" or the de-racialization of everything make matters worse?

Other individuals/races might feel left out thus bringing out harsh racism that was experienced during the colonial error. Therefore, it is essential to consider a common understanding of de-racialization other than focusing on one individual/race. It is clear to understand the aspect of different races thoughts about how different races are being perceived.

How do we reach common ground while also understanding that there will be differences amongst all of us?

In reaching common grounds, it is clear for every individual to understand different races. They should understand there perceived understanding of race is not as that of interacting with them. Even though this action might not accommodate all, but it might be an eye-opener for many.
