The article indicates the dynamics of cyber-attacks surrounding a UK charity organization set to counter Russian disinformation. A data theft had been stolen from the government-funded Institute for Statecraft of which the National Crime Agency was conducting an investigation. The impending dangers of other attacks forced the organization to clear all the content from its website while undertaking the investigation. This was based on the assumption that the attack was an attempt to undermine or thwart the charity endeavors in countering the threat to European civilization. Russian military Intelligence service (GRU) had instigated the attack. These attacks like that for Al Jazeera ranges from government websites crypto jacking, website hackings, hijacking company's information and stealing of intellectual property, bank robberies et cetera. The attack involved the gathering of information and other vulnerability by probing the existing computer networks. It also has the elements of a network attack that had crashed the user on the network through the manipulation of network protocols. Therefore, it can be best classified as network attack.
