The president generally answered that it was up to the attorney general decision on whether to publicize or not. For the past fifteen years, it is usually a tradition for a president to be interviewed by the news network before the commencement of the United States biggest sporting event. The 2019 game is the second time president Trump approved to take questions. In 2018, the president refused an interview by NBC citing a coverage, which was unfair from the news network. In 2017, Bill O'Reilly who was the Fox News host interviewed the president before the event started. The interview with Margaret Brennan who is the CBS host marked one of the rare instances the President took questions from other televised network apart from Fox. In the interview, Brennan was capable of asking remarkable questions. The most exciting highlights during the interview included the issue of whether the president wanted to keep the US troops in Iraq to supervise Iran. The president responded that Iran is the actual problem; thus, the Troops would remain in Iraq. The president reiterated that all he wants is to watch Iran.

President Trump did not generally specify the number of troops he intended to keep in Iraq. In 2018, Trump announced the idea to withdraw the US troops from the Syria, which was a surprise to main allies abroad and also his top administration (Ford 2). The president told Brennan that he was firm to stop the war in both Iran and Afghanistan. The president appeared to be more devoted to Iraq by deploying visiting troops in December, but in the interview, Trump reiterated that the Iraq invasion was the extreme blunders ever made by the US. During the interview, the president said he did not have to reach an agreement with his intelligence. Testimony of US intelligence before the congress exhibited Trump policy regarding foreign policy to be out of reality. In regards to North Korea nuclear threat and the ISIS power, the trumps intelligence chiefs displayed president outright contradiction.

During the interview, Trump said he did not have to listen to them. The president said even though he has the Intel people, he did not have to agree to them. The president gave an example of George W. Bush Intel people who had informed him of Saddam Hussein possession of nuclear weapons of mass destruction. Trump said that the Intel people failed to know what they were doing and led the United States in a war that should not be there. In the event valuation, President Donald Trump was non-committal on various pressing issues. The president was not willing to say his exact stance on the most important matter pressing the country. Trump failed to clearly show what he meant by saying that the United States invaded Iraq. The Intel is generally not 100 per cent foolproof, but the president using it as a tale for caution shows his evidence was flawed.
