Although transformational leadership theory has been slated on the bases of being challenging to teach because it is practically a mishmash of various methods. It was contended on the values of a transformational leader, traits of a people following such a leader, as well as the benefits of this system of leadership (Transformational leadership) applicable in all fields. The substance of transformational leadership is endorsing a positive visualization and values to cliques to nurture the spirit of teamwork and obligation confidently. In addition to this, such leaders encourage their followers to be inventive and original, giving them room to implement progressive ideas. Subsequently, leaders governing under transformational leadership believes in leading by inspiring and setting a leap as role models to their supporters. Transformational leaders guide their factions, reward their resourcefulness and offer them the sustenance they require to implement their concepts (Lowe & Bathula, 2019, p. 266-273).
Transformational leadership, irrespective of the arena is characterized by several features. The most outstanding characteristic is boosting inspiration and constructive development of followers. It also figures out a corporate culture amongst society by inspiring their followers to change their approach from conquering a personal interest to working towards realizing a common objective. This headship offers to tutor and mentor but provide a room for the hangers-on to make verdicts and take possession tasks. The stated leadership system provides a place for truthfulness, collaboration and undefended communication. Besides, it also adopts a pleasant work atmosphere with vibrant ethics, primacies and principles and therefore enhancing moral standards within society.
For a transformational leadership system to work in any humanity or enterprise, various points of interests should be deliberated. Most importantly, there should be an open system whereby there is an intentional intellect of harmony between the leaders and the followers. To attain a conjoint impact, diverse disciplines should choose to work together instead of working self-sufficiently. Since this leadership system contends on the prerequisite to trying new ideas, both parties, (leaders and followers) should incline to seek new notions as well as attending to each other. Conclusively, transformational leaders can be described by several elements. They should be captivating and focus on empowering their followers through inspiring.
In recent years, the military sector has reformed from a volatile and forceful model of service to a more preemptive way of community service. Police officers are coagulating their associations with the citizens by converging more on solving the hitches other that strenuously punishing crimes. They have effected methods to work with the public to heighten safety and public security. This has provoked the transformational leadership theory provisions in this specific sector. Nevertheless, it has been a stiff charge to absolutely transit from transactional leadership to transformational because this is viewed as directly contrary to what is trained in law enforcement. Military sector has been considered as punitive sector whereby, installation of chastisement is regarded to mean "force solicitation". Several studies in support of transformational leadership theory argue that governance is not operative without leaders empowering juniors to make decisions. Concerning this, it is significant to scrutinize the sway of both transactional and transformational models, and then equate to conclude which of the replicas provide preferred results.

Although transformational leadership is beheld as the best equated to other leadership models such as authoritative, transactional, among others, in the military sector, it might not be operational if applied alone. Therefore, it is imperative to distinguish when the trustworthy scheme is necessary. For instance, a police officer would implicate the affiliates of the public in organizing ways to curb insecurity, giving way to their thoughts and ideas. However, when dealing with a criminal incident, transformational may not apply. Dynamism and authority may be the best elucidation for such an instance (sound system). The intricate regulating arena is convoluted and obliges high level of ability. From reacting to threats to public security to exploration and prosecution of cases requirements a well-planned processes formula. Transformational leadership has all the components necessary to accomplish the leadership role in any sector. Participative or inclusive decision making is the key to leadership in all zones. The present day's public needs support in developing communication and cohesion with their leaders. If appropriately exploited transformational leadership system has the power to transmute the whole approach of management in all sectors, making a better room for progress and correct decision making, for the benefits of both the leaders and their followers. This grants a decent attitude that results in all-round developments.
