Craig Kallman carries on the entrepreneurial tradition that has driven Atlantic Records since its founding by Ahmet Ertegun over 65 years ago, and is embodied in the careers of such fellow Atlantic producer/executives as Jerry Wexler, Nesuhi Ertegun, and Doug Morris. Craig joined Atlantic in 1991, when the company acquired his independent Big Beat Records label. Craig's entrepreneurial sensibility has also made Atlantic a highly desirable destination for indie labels looking to take their artists to the next level, as exemplified by the company's partnership with Fueled By Ramen - whose roster includes Grammy winners fun., Panic! At The Disco, Gym Class Heroes, and others; and Canvasback (Grammy nominees Alt-J, Grouplove, the Joy Formidable et al.). Since 2007, the seminal hard rock/heavy metal label Roadrunner has been part of the Atlantic family. In 2010, Craig re-launched his Big Beat label which has had tremendous success with artists like Grammy winners Skrillex and Clean Bandit, Icona Pop, and Martin Solveig, to name a few.

The signing of Led Zeppelin to Atlantic records in 1968 was one of the most press crazed rock events in rock history. One of the main reasons why Atlantic Records was so generous was because Led Zeppelin's manager, Peter Grant, was known to be tough and came to the United

States showing no mercy to the labels, Jack White has dabbled in many different kinds of rock including folk rock, blues rock, and garage rock. One of Jack White's main influences was Led Zeppelin. It has been said that the singer White sounds more similar too is Robert Plant. White shares Jimmy Page's love for blues guitar and incorporates a very bluesy feel into a lot of his music. There is a strong electric violin present through the majority of the song that really sticks out and gets one to focus on. The energy White puts into his music is also very apparent and adds to the his aesthetic greatly because he has this whole bad boy persona who doesn't really care, but he cares so much about his music.

Music has been an expressive art form where individual talents are nurtured. This is because it brings the inner side of an artist to the surface. The primary education system has teaching classes where music is taught, and this has dramatically boosted the music industry. The acts of listening to old music will never fade away in the decades to come. Due to technology, the music industry will experience a shift over the next ten years. Radio and CDS will become obsolete. Machine algorithms and artificial intelligence will become as important as music DJs, and by 2028, the music industry will be very different as it is now.
