By initiating a Costa Rica resort, Carlson will have a better platform for protecting children from sexual exploitation.
Additionally, the resort is highly attributed to greater financial gain, and Carlson can use the profit to protect children's rights and control child sexual abuse.

It is risky to trust trained employees to protect children from sexual abuse. Therefore, it makes no sense in assuring society about the global code of conduct.
Following that, the Central American nation is known for child sex trafficking; it will be difficult to initiate this change without enough support from the government (Lawrence & Weber, 2014).
As a profit-based entity, it would also suffer threats from the child sex trafficking businesses, leading to its fall. At the same time, society has a negative perception of resort businesses despite the right actions that directly affect Carlson's reputation.
I would advise Carlson to build a resort. The supporting reasons above are basic for a profit based resort. By ensuring the conduct codes are met, Mrs. Carlson can be assured of good image more so from reviews of the customers.
By initiating a Costa Rica resort, Carlson will have a better platform for protecting children from sexual exploitation. Because of the existence of the adopted global conduct, the resort could train its employees on how to professionally manage the issue.
Conclusion
The resort's business opportunity exists in Costa Rica, implying that another person with immoral intentions could set up the same business and fail to protect children. Therefore, it is sensible for Carlson to block the opportunity by setting up a resort that is up to the code of conduct required.
Additionally, the resort is highly attributed to greater financial gain, and Carlson can use the profit to protect children's rights and control child sexual abuse. Many people will feel safe with the resort services based on the success and the image it shall have created, and Carlson will have taken her part to give back to society through employment and protecting children (Lawrence & Weber, 2014).
