The company mainly specializes in Internet-related services and products. Google first founded the company was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin who currently own 15 qne shares in wn percent of the organization's shares and have control over 56 percent of voting power among stakeholders (Vise, 2007).
Primarily, the company was incorporated as a private company with its headquarters in Mountain View California. At that time the company was referred to as Googolplex. The rapid growth exhibited by the company has since its incorporation has led to the emergence of some products, partnerships, and acquisitions beyond its well-established search engine.
Mission and Objectives of the Company
Google Company's mission has and remains to be, "to organize global information and ensure that it's useful, credible and accessible. Currently, Google resides dominant in the US online search market owning approximately 74% of the market. Annually, millions of people perform a lot of searches through the companies search platform. The primary mission of the company is to ensure that they provide the best answers to queries presented to them by their users (Vise, 2007). The platform acts as a source of facts, solutions, services, and products enabling the user to have easy access to unlimited data.
Additionally, the company also aims at eliminating content from SERPs that is of low quality. To acquire this, the company has performed several updates to its algorithm to improve the results given to presented queries by providing content depending on its relevance to the user. To achieve this, the company offers rewards to websites that provide quality content and useful services and information. Thus the company's reputation is determined by the quality of results produced, hence the need to update its systems and mode of delivering services and products.
Organizational Structure
The company has a cross-functional corporate structure which technically exists as a matrix structure with a measurable degree of flatness. The flatness feature is a defining structure that plays a significant role in supporting the growth and competitiveness of the company (Haveliwala et al., 2005). The main features of the organizational structure of the company include product-based and function-based definitions as well as flatness. During grouping of employees, the structure of the company utilizes function as its basis as well as products provided. The company exhibits a flat structure whereby its employees, groups, and teams are allowed to bypass management at the middle and enable direct communication with higher departments of administration allowing them to share information among organizations.

Through its diverse services, the company has attained an exceptional level of growth technologically enabling it to leadership development within the Android operating system (Pfeffer & Villenueve, 1994). The main categories of services provided by the company include a search engine, advertising, enterprise services, consumer services, and internet services.
The Financial Status of the Company
Through the use of Ferrets financial metrics, an analysis was conducted to take a hard look at the company's financial records since 2007. The company has experienced a few ups and downs but still has been able to maintain a stable and robust economic rank within the market. Averagely Google has maintained a growth rate of approximately 25% annually hence the company has a high and steady revenue growth (Brin & Page, 1998). As a result, the company proves its ability to consistently offer services and products that customers will be satisfied paying for. The company utilizes an excellent pricing policy whereby it does not account its margin for gross profit to ensure that the company can get more sales. Currently, the company is raising it gross profit margin allowing it to increase the benefit it gains for each additional revenue.Conclusion
Google has transformed the technological and economic landscape of the world. Through its products and services, Google is more than just a search platform and provides some functions that allow it to provide credible and reliable data to its users globally. The company has increased its market share from 35% to over 60% compared to its available competitors making it the most powerful search engine worldwide.
