The objectivist theory of art is a more comprehensive philosophical system proposed brought forward by Martin Gardner. According to Gardner, art is distinctively human. The theory of objectivist indicates that humans are abstract beings. Art is a selective rejuvenation of reality. Art is a recreation of human existence, reflecting on essential and substantial experience. The objectivism theory describes the art world to be an open human achievement. Most of the man's thinking is through perception and applying theoretical knowledge on language and rationality. However, if the abstraction is essential, it becomes harder for human beings to comprehend having the reality of the concrete in perspicacity.

According to Martin Garner, without realism, it would be difficult for human beings to understand why the world seems real. Gardner, in his philosophical work, does not try to justify the theory. His argument sounds more real since realism is more of a reasonable conjecture and not a rational statement. The argument further classifies to the experiences that we refer to as aesthetic to have emotional character, distinct instant, and reflective. Art appreciation is a sophisticated form of aesthetic that can be discerned from the real world. Besides, experiences can be categorized as an artistic perception that creates the abstraction of the universe.

Aesthetic receptiveness in art is revealed by the inspiration portrayed by an artisan, which creates emotions. As far as the aesthetic knowledge is applied, the real environmental elements become more powerful than the objects in an artistic world. In Garner's argument, the artwork methods are differentiated based on the experiences. This discernment of considering nature by knowledge appears that it cannot be associated with the traditional kind. In a conventional view, an individual aesthetically identifies and experiences an object through physic distance, thus separating it from science.

From my point of view, I confidently support Gardner's theory. I believe that an individual must select values by standards to achieve maximum appreciation. For instance, the art of an organization that has the main aim of being the best in the industry, then the ethical practices if Gardener's theory should classify the organization as objectivism. As an explanation, the organization's goal, in this case, is achieving the greatest good in the universe, which is happiness. Besides, "happiness" cannot be realized at the expense of another organization, "happiness."

Furthermore, Gardner's theory also has its weaknesses. Under various scenarios, a person can make mistakes while making a judgment, the same way an individual make errors while attaining perception. Objections can also be characterized by objectivism in the art, which are the same as well-familiarized objections to objectivism in different extents. Besides, the quality of art can be subjective if it does not autonomously occur in objects of subjects to their appreciation.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it is irrational to say that if an object is not an art, it lacks beauty or worthlessness. Thus, it means that the word art does not measure or indicate appreciation of the experiences we human beings go through.
