Correspondingly, why and how what we eat matters is matters since it delivers a significant effect on food security and availability of resources on earth (Gabaccia, 2009). For example, with the development of bad dietary habits particularly consumption of animal products or dairy products, the systems are striving to tap into the planet's resources which on the other hand expands incidents of chronic diseases and could contribute to the starvation of up to two billion people in the globe. Theoretically, there is more than enough food that is available to feed every human in the world; however, most of the critical plant diet is grown for animal consumption. In other cases, the documentary depicts the various unethical practices that the food industries and slaughterhouse are indulging in which describe animal cruelty.

Generally, what we eat matters not just in terms of human health but also in protecting the planet and all the inhabitants. In answering the question of why and how what people consume is essential, it helps provide the world with the protection it needs since knowing what we eat determines how we are changing the world.
