Drivers need to be safe and there are a number of safety features that are found inside the car. Seat belts are used to fasten the driver to the seats in order to reduce injuries in case of an accident. When seat belts are fastened, the possibility of the occupants of the car being thrown out as a result of impact is minimized. Airbags are also other safety features that are found inside a car. There are side and front airbags that are aimed at protecting the driver from front and side injuries during an accident.
The inside of a car also accommodates features that are geared towards making the occupants of the car comfortable. One of such is the air conditioning system. The navigation system is displayed on the same screen that is used for entertainment. The same display also used as a display for the reverse camera.
There are many controls, gauges, and meters that are found inside a car. One of such control is the steering wheel that is used for directional control. There are also pedals that are located below the steering wheel. One pedal is the break that is used to stop the car while the other is acceleration pedal whose function is to propel the car. On the sides of the front seats, there are hand rests for the driver and the front passenger to put their hands on. There is also a gear level that is located to between the driver and the passenger seat and its function is to help in selecting the different gears such as drive, parking, reverse and neutral.
